I was shooting over rape,theirs lots of birds flying about but still in big flocks

Thought id try my luck today and see if the pigeons have started splitting up so i set the decoys out and within minutes i had my first shot the day went pretty good apart from me only taking 50 cartridges and ran out in no time but still had a good result her's some pics ended up with 35

Had a look out tonight with peg on some of his ground see if we could see some fox's, he said he's not bothered the foxs for a while so our plan was to knock a few on the head, we only seen the three which i shot, a good result for a quick hour out cheers peg looking foward for another trip out mate didn't take a camera but took a couple with the phone

Whilst talking to the farmer today hundreds of pigeons where feeding on his rape, he dropped a few hints about me decoying them even though i know there still in big flocks and are very hard at decoying but im giving them ago on saturday,keep him happy,im getting up there first light see if i can get a doe to start of with

Yep it was a cracking day the place is crawling with life we covered some miles but it was worth it, did you tell the farmer the result i bet he'll be one happy chap

The shot was a neck shot and followed in the back of the head, there was a mess, they are a nasty little round them 58 grain balistics
