    Had a russel whippet when i was a boy terrible yappy we thing these lurcher have been line bred for over 40 years with the out cross added the last out cross was a full working beddy over a 29tts coursing greyhound that was the sire to my bruce hence his height 26tts then he went back over his mother then a pup from that went over bruces sister just lurcher to lurcher for over 40 years

    Just took to them theres a guy near me that has kept his line going for a lot of years he gifted me my first beddy type and they just suit me so stuck by them got a different type now but lining my we beddy bitch next week so hopefully back to my usual.

    Some of the coats on beddy are no good very fine for me i like terrier blood like a trier and a dog thats no feart to try most things hate a dog running with its head up.trying to work things out just get on with it they have a good nose

    It can be easy as long as it doesn't all happen at once the dogs are a great help holding and catching especially if your on your own

    A lot of keepers stalkers shoot on sight but the problem is the area that are not estates there over run with sika and there hybreds

    Reds are breeding with the sika in alot of parts of scotland surely that will bring the size down and wipe the red deer in scotland out eventually just a thought

    Done it twice this season once with tbe younger dogs the picture s at the beginning about a 5 or 6 weeks ago them about 3 weeks ago with tbe old dogs got stopped cause the rain

    Think.i had 30 odd out of it dogs catch a few hole hoppers and push a lot into longnets around it must of missed about tbe same as i caught

    Had a day doing a Warren 4 longnets 8 ferrets and 2 dogs nice we change could of done with another 8 ferrets

    Good great we nose on het she knows what's it all about and very robust strong for 6 months

    I just take my time let the dogs work pick a different gully to do every trip up could have a different area all season ground is vast
