    Im wondering who would really put hunting 1st and foremost before family illness and the needs of their 3 kids? I for one wouldnt even consider it, yes I love getting out, but have been struck with a rather tough 2 years of hospitals, and no one apart from me to look after the kids. either that or get a total starnger in soi can get out more than i already have done. No stupid comments like i would def. put the dogs first. I used to think that way, but when faced with the sitation first hand, you realise whats important. Comments or experiences welcome.

    Not meaning to change the thread,but how many times had T been rushed to hospital, who would look after the kids/ rather me than a starnger. I wont say anymore on the matter apart from you dont put dogs before family, you know how dedicated i am to both family and dogs, but things need to be prioritised. Even the most dedicated terrierlads have enouh sense to understand that. Im never stopped to do it, but feel the needs of my family come first and foremost.

    i love my books mate , but put family 1st. got my priorities right, but will have a look out with you any day or night. If Hedz is up, I will appreciate a like minded day out. I will ring, but dont let me down with excuses. Everything is readyat the dropof a hat.

    Well im after a decent springer, must be carbine. and in decent condition. bsa lightning would be ideal. would consider a weirach, only got about 100 quid budget. Newcastle area.

    Im yet to see that mate,dogs ive had and seen either tear down the hole,or just piss on like a duck. If they want in they want in they want it. thats why a lot of more experienced lads use chains, ACCIDENTS spring to mind. better to be safe than f****d well and truly.

    Ive got land for lamping and ferreting,willing to take someone out for days out, in exchange for me to learn some terrier work. Ive done a bit got locators, nets and shovels. and a terrier tostart, pm me im willing to learn, am a family man and sensible. Northumberland area.

    They used to sell the casings when they `1st brought them out. the 1`st did crack, but they then replaced it with a softer casing to give a bit. dodgy not doing the old casings though. sure they were only 25-40

    Mora are good general purpose knives, got a few, rubber handled, and put a new inner tube cut on the handle, makes the griip great.

    Some good books, but still prefer d harcombes for style and terriers. each give a totally different style of book, so both worth a read. the lurcher ones were ok. never read dogs and deer.

    How do you know it goes under the road? try and either live trap, or using a terrier that is good at bolting.

    And a very poor one at that. Ive been let down, used, stabbed in the back, the whole Schabang. Then im made out to be the bad one and in the wrong, the person im on about will hopefully read this, but I doubt he will ever see the error of his ways. Proper greedy twat, no give and take. The thing is he is that self centred that he will only stew in his own shite time after time after time. I gave him clothes for out doors, trainers as he had nothing to wear when we were out. Sorted his ferrets, got a him a canny pup, sorted locator and shovels of which we went down the middle on. AND GOT
