    the side shooter design was made to shoot through the forks so you get hit bye the pouch on knuckles when shooting through the forks and over the top?cant help you on that one sorry .. If you get hit by the bands, it's either because your ammo is too light for the bands or your shooting form is bad. It's nothing to do with through or over the forks.

    Maybe you could interact and post a report about one of your hunting trips. You must have plenty, if you've done more than most. There's no need to post anything that could compromise your anonymity. It would give you some credibility and when you criticise others at least they'd know that you had a working knowledge of fieldsports. Otherwise you could find that you tend to be ignored and don't get to interact. Those that do hunt will know whether your report is genuine or not. It's a little short sighted to expect people to take your word for things when you offer no proof. You may feel that

    It's nothing to do with shooting in the breeding season, the bunnies just aren't there. It's the same all over. I've noticed decent numbers right by the coast but as soon as you move inland it's dire.

    I trim the strips of TBG and then tape over them before I use them, I'll put a picture up of a finished one. The antler ones make a change from milbro types. The orange elastic is real quick and shoots nice.

    It depends what you want it for or what you're used to. Square rubber is more forgiving, is smoother to shoot, but is slower. It can be really accurate with practice and a .44 cal lead ball launched from it takes game out to decent distances. It shoots steel well enough but is best suited to lead. Flatbands are harder to get the best from, they are harsher to shoot and harder to draw back. They are very fast and can be cut to suit your projectile. They too can be extremely accurate and can be pushed out to further ranges, due to their faster velocity and greater power. Your best bet
