    Hi, I've got a moonlight night vision monocular for sale. It's a zenit IR-2 1.6/85. Good condition, comes in a waterproof/bomb-proof yellow hard case with two latches and a pressure release screw. I think it's 1-6 mag but not too sure I bought second hand for £150 and the guy before me said he could see foxes easy out to 200metres.     Haven't really got the money for a tikka, it all builds up when you gotta get binoculars, 2 rifles, another scope, a rangefinder, a good safe, etc etc! Haha I was going to swap the red field with my bushnell, and stick the redfield on a cz455 .22lr. Is that decent or would you advise upgrading to the zeiss, and putting the bushnell on the cz/.308 (when I get one!) Cheers, Mitch

    From what I've learnt you must choose a magnification and stick with it. Many say your POI will not change when changing magnification but it does. You also need to practice and work out the 'sweet spot' of your gun. My s200 I would fill to 190bar and fire off about 5 shots. This is where my sweet spot began and then ended after 30 shots. So you really need to count of the shots and work out when your POI starts to drop. I hated this and got a regulator fitted to my gun which makes such a huge difference. If you have the spare cash I would definitely recommend getting one fitted. My POI stays

    The weatherby is a very heavy rifle , something you might consider if you plan to lug it round all day .Also the trigger pull is poor but this can be improved by fitting a timmony trigger . Most modern rifles shoot well enough , but i would go with the pro hunter all day long .... The steyr is what I was leaning towards, almost purely because of their brand reputation. It's just a choice between getting a top of the range stainless varmint heavy barrelled weatherby or a standard pro hunter... Do you know what the trigger is like on the steyr? Cheers, Mitch

    Just as a side note, I got scammed by (I think) 'graham' when I tried to buy a s400 and a hw100. I paid half as a gift, and thought there was no way I was going to get it back, but luckily my fathers PayPal was linked to his credit card, and the credit card company was able to refund it no problems! So mainly, obviously don't send it as a gift unless you know them, but just in case use a credit card to send the payment through PayPal because if PayPal don't refund it then the credit card company will!

    Hi guys, will be in the market for a few new rifles soon, and was looking at the combo deals on sportsmans gun centre. Narrowed it down to the weatherby vanguard, the browning x-bolt, and the steyr mannlicher mkII pro hunter. Just wondering if any of you have experience with these rifles and which one is the best? Mainly between the steyr and the weatherby! Also do these "combo deals represent good value in your minds? Just another question, does anyone know what the difference between the steyr mkII pro hunter, and the steyr mkII pro hunter mountain is? Same price and everything.

    Hi all, may sound like a stupid question but I don't know which police force to apply to, there seems to be people around me applying to South Wales police and others applying to gwent police force?
