Why not go for a Presa Canario? What Bandog would you want?I might consider a presa if the right litter came up at the right time TBH but I just prefer bandogs personally, never owned a bad one and I seem to click well with their temperament. As for what type well as I said ideally I'd like one with a good bit of neapolitan in it's make up but the quality of the sire and dam themselves will always be more important than the individual breeds in their make up to me. Why not go down the Swinford route and use English Mastiff?Good quality neos are not the easiest of things to find.Good qualit

Look up on them, the Ovcharka along with the Kangal look leagues above the Mastiffs in every department.

The Kangals are amazingly agile and quick for their size, they put the big Mastiff types to shame.To shame in what aspect.How quick does a guard dog need to be.A man isn't going to outrun the slowest of mastiffs.In all-round athletic ability and mouth.Have you had much personal experience with kangals or working bred mastiffs Seen it with my own eyes, have you?

Almost certainly stolen for breeding purposes, many a winner was likely bred from it over the years.....How? Race Horses are blood and dna tested for parentage to get there passport and no passport = no racing Even that far back? -

But that surely proves the dog is the superior athlete all things being equal...... well you best get off ya arse and go to the alentejo and ask the fella I've seen and caught plenty of Hares but I've never had a Saluki or Saluki cross to see what they are like. somebody send him chalky and the boys dvds I was talking about in flesh. I've seen plenty of Saluki type dogs on YouTube, some dogs do seem to run the Hare to a standstill whereas some Hares end up leaving the dog. It's a difficult one to answer I know....

I think it would be a good idea if slips were measured. I know an experienced slipper should get it just about right but I bet there's been cases of dogs losing a comp due to having a longer slip.
