  3. I got myself a second generation first cross 9 month old bitch to work with the ferrets and a bit lamping, i no her back ground and have seen her parents work the lamp.. The guy who bought her at 6 weeks has worked basic obedience etc with her but thats it she aint seen a bunny in her life. i have had her for 2 weeks, i kept her in for the first week to start and build a bond, we were getting on great, after a week i put her in the garage in a kennel and run next to my greyhounds, all she has done is twist and bark, ive tried the hose but now when ever she sees me she shakes and cries and tr

  5. I would nt personally wait till next season, you could be feeding shite for a year, no one gets rid of a 2 year old dog if its any good
  6. Both parents are workers, just spoke to the guy who got the pup, the bitch is a terrier mans draw dog and is well known to the people that need to know , all pups from a litter of 7 were spoken for before they hit the floor, so it was obviously a planned litter Still strange though
  7. A local chap has just bought a bull x whippet but its unusual how its bred,.the sire was a non per whippet and the dam is a first x stafford English bull. Which will make the pup 1/2 whippet, 1/4 English bull 1/4 stafford, will this CROSS be any good in the field

  9. I currently own a couple of pure greyhounds an 8 year old bitch thats just retired from 4 seasons lamping and a dog currently 5 year old just finished his second season, both dogs 200% on the lamp which can be backed by pictures and video, my old bitch is on day 7 of her season, I would consider breeding only if I know I will be guaranteed homes for remaining pups, I would like to keep a dog and bitch for myself to rear as lurchers, both dogs are very well bred and the dog is open graded and the bitch was a2, ill post names of sire and dam if there is enough interest, if I go ahead with the m

  14. What is the best first cross you have worked or seen work , be it a saluki grey, collie grey bull grey etc, I think it will be interesting to see what most people choose because in certain parts of the country you can guarantee there will be no working collies or bulls to put to a bitch.. So do people breed pet to worker and keep there fingers crossed for a good outcome
