  3. Linden Eland sired a bitch greyhound that was bred with David Hancocks Richard Jones. Apparently Hancocks dogs have some good blood in them after all.
  4. In the town where I live there are three of these rangers they have the power to issue dog shit fines 75 pounds. They patrol all the favourite dog walking areas armed with binoculars and cameras, the two I was speaking with the other day looked like a pair of lesbian ex convicts .One of them said that they catch enough people to more than pay their wages.

  7. Just found this snippet first appeared in shooting news 1987 ish written by Margaret McFarlane a librarian by profession. I think Ms McFarlane wrote this piece straight from a book. The Tumbler, a type which as received a lot of attention, was adog for all seasons, which compasseth all by crafts, frauds, subtilities and deceits, we English men call " Tumblers": because in hunting, they turn and tumble, winding their bodies about in circle wise, and then fiercely and violently venturing upon the beast, will suddenly grip it, at the very mouth of their receptacles or closets, before they can rec

Those little African tribes men are surly in tune with nature.
  10. Skycat is absolutely correct when she uses cleft palate deformity as an example as how recessive traits can come to the fore when using brother and sister matings . How ever it must be remembered that only 25% of the offspring will develope the cleft palate. Of the remainder 50% will carry the gene without showing the deformity, while the remaining 25% will neither carry or show the deformity. The only problem at the moment is that it is impossible to distinguish between carriers and none carriers , but a DNA test may become available very shortly. The breeder has to decide if the amount of ris

  12. Painless, you are convinced that evolution is only a theory, this next piece has been written by Jerry Coyne a Proffesor of Biology in is on line article the faith that dare not speak it's name : The Case Against Intelegent Design. It is important to realise at the outset that evolutionis not " just a theory." It is, again, a theory and a fact. Although non-scientists often equate " theory" with " hunch" or " wild guess," the Oxford English Dictionary defines a scientific theory as " a scheme or system of ideas or statements held as an explanation or account of a group of facts or phenome
