    Just found my Jill dead in her hutch she's left me 8 kits to look after iv got some beaphar kitten formular and I'm feeding them every 2 hours they inside on a heat matt there 3 weeks old any advice would be great

    Your gonna need stronger wire on the front mate as they will bite through chicken wire .

    That's what I'm gonna do get a young bird I'm not botherd about breeding this year I've got a year to get things sorted and learn more so it's probs for the best, are they cheaper at the end of the season or the same price

    To be fair he wasn't right from the start so when I go to get a new one I'll know what to look for I'm still gonna keep the birds I'll just have to be carefull when choosing one. Expensive mistake tho

    I always look for an active/ nosey kit and I start them that winter always have a few teething troubles eg skulking at holes but they sharp pick it up

    From what I can gather it's just personal preference which canary you use I'll give the fifes ago if I'm not happy I'll put it down to experience cheers for advice won't be breeding till next year now as my goldie cock is under the weather
