    Cheers for all the replys and advice I work him with my whippet x Lakeland and he loves pushing through the cover so I thin your right he's letting the other dog do all the work and he's getting the good stuff least he would b if he could catch it , I'll try keeping him on a lead for a few weeks see what he's like after that

    No I work him above ground he's great at everything else ratting ferreting he dosent show any interest if there nothing in the thick which I understand and don't have a problem with but even when the other dogs are marking and pushing he's always on the outskirts of the cover

    My terrier has recently started refusing to work cover he's 3 coming up and is a border x Lakeland I check him over every night and he's not hurt in anyway just seems like his drive has gone he still as good as ever with the ferreting but when it comes to cover he refuses point blank any advise would be appreciated cheers

    When I got him the whole litter were like him more on the whippet side but they can go back to the terrier so it hit and miss he's a first x

    I use brown fence paint for the out side of my hutches and brown gloss for the inside helps with the cleaning
