i honestly think hazel an such pegs are trampy for purse nets lol, dont know why they just look like daft, however i do use em for long nets, i peel aboot 2 inch off the bark off the top so i can see em, an obviously a point on the other, i onl use em small tho 24 inches max, but i set me longnets a lot shorter then most the other folks i seen, but when cutting it i always use it straight away an never had a problem

no mate not given up on anything, but after talking to a few mates that run houndxterriers an pure hounds, i think the beagle or hound blood is unneeded, an after fishing last week an seeing these 2 collie/terriers hunting up the fishery an killin rats an putting bunnys out to a bull/whippet i was quite impressed, an i actually got a terrier an collie here than i can/do work an will vouch for, an seeing as the whole litter would be for personal use, its got me thinking yeah i was thinking the same on hound blood but then i thought i would need some, then changed my mind again etc etc.....

iv asked gm aboot the welsh an fox terriers he used in person, an by all acounts the dogs were getting dig to, dont see why he would need to lie to me, was no money involved

i work a few full collies an even a terrier to bush, but only ever seen a couple a crosses, i like spaniels, but i do get on better with collies

i run me dog with a collar on, iv seen 1 nasty accident happen whilst a dog was running with collar on, but on other hand i seen a load a nasty yins happen an the collar was not involved, so its personal choice, i like it tho, just gives an extra degree of security, i seen a few dogs slip them trigger slips an get in on a run, also seen a few folks struggle to fasten them up in dark with wet cold fingers, i personally like to use a collar to grab a dog if there is more than 1 out, soon as it comes to heal with bunny i grab collar, put slip back on then deal with the bunny, that way other guy a

keep working that bitch pal, an if she makes it to 4 or 5 years of age withoot any serious injurys/death or jacking then think about breeding off her, an 2 days a week aint exactly a lot, fair enuff its that all ye can get out, but there are guys out 5 nites a week an still leave there bitches till 4 or 5 to breed, just enjoy the wee bitch ye got now an work her as hard as ye can
