Hi all. I was just reading through some comments feed back ect regarding tuning. And what is the lock up time? And how is this done? And what is buttoning? And last what greases that are needed for certain areas? I have bisley moly grease and pure silicone grease and ct-2 synthetic grease so what parts do i re lube with what? So say what do i put on the main spring? What do i put on the piston ect? Cheers and thanks.

Hi all im selling my weihrauch hw90. It was made in may 1991 according to hull cartridges data base. Its the full length barrell which i had threaded and fitted a parker hale silencer. Wood has been re done in walnut brand new seals fitted very very accurate and seriosly quite. Very long barrel. Blueing is wearing a little. This is a really nice gun to shoot with the theoben gas ram system. So there is virtually no recoil. It is shooting pellet on pellet out to around 40 yards. Shooting at 11.56 ftlb with bisley long range gold .22 pellets. It is a reluctant sale but one i must make. So

Just Got A Crosman
Lancashire Hunter replied to Lancashire Hunter's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Well i polished the piston up to mirror finish and polished the chamber up and regreased it properly as it had a stupid amount of grease and the recoil has disappeared near enough it is now shooting at 11.81ftlb with air arms diablo fields and at 40 yards im getting 2p size groups with 10 shots but im going to also try some daystate rangemaster li as the air arms most were badly damaged and causing some flyers. But i also have a welsh willy kit coming so it should be one amazing rifle for a cheap chinky one lol. And replaced the horrid centre point scope with a nice big 3-9×56 scope which ha -
Adding Extra Weight
Lancashire Hunter replied to Lancashire Hunter's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Cheers mate i will give that a try. -
Hey all i have had my crossman tr77 tuned by welsh will and it shoot amazingly. But what i would like to know is how would i go about adding extra weight to the front end of the rifle? The reason i ask this is there is a bit of muzzle flip and i can only put it down to the rifles extremly light weight. When i take the rifle out of the stock there are cut outs and groves which i did think of pakcing them up but what can i fill these cut outs with? Or am i best trying to add a barrel weight?

Hey all finished my bsa project sold it on and was in my local gunshop by some cartridges. And saw a crosman tr77 in 177 cal. And must admit for a cheap chinese gun it is really nice to shoot. With air arms field diablos its chronoed at 11.75ftlb as a average a high of 11.83ftlb and a low of 11.34ftlb. And at 33 yards im getting 2p coin groups havent tryed it at further distance yet but as first thoughts go really impressed. Down side the trigger is crap. And when i took it out the stock its as some no nothing has got a tub of moly grease and spooned it in so in the process of stripping it cle

Bsa Lightning Trigger Spring
Lancashire Hunter replied to Lancashire Hunter's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I totally agree pal it is the most useless design they could have come up with. But on the up side when the piston came out and i polished it with wet and dry 400grit paper for the best part of 2-3 hours and a bloody good clean and polish of the cylinder and spring ect christ it was a huge transformation it was so smooth. Re greased with ptfe teflon grease and WOW. Smooth cocking very effortless a very slight nudge. And was doing 11.7ftlb with bisley long range gold. Started the second one cocks lovely buy got to wait for a new safety circlip sear spring and trigger strut. O and now a new st -

Bsa Lightning Trigger Spring
Lancashire Hunter replied to Lancashire Hunter's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
The scope rail is actually easy to remove. I stood the cylinder up on the rear end and with a block of wood and hammer i knocked it down and it comes off. Figured out how to put trigger together the first lightning sorted it and polished everything up put back together fired about 10 or pellets and wow i cant believe how nice and smooth it is to shoot started on the second one took piston out rang my gunsmith as i noticed that in the first lightning only had 1 piston weight and the second had four and wanderd why and turns out it more then likely was a 177 and some one put a 22 barrel so put -

Smk B2 Air Rifle Upgrade .177
Lancashire Hunter replied to Liamjenx's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
As above you can buy a semi decent bsa webley or even a brand new stoeger for 160-180. The stoeger is a full powerd budget gun and you get rifle and scope for around 160ish not the best but far better then smk crap. Yes you can tune ect a b2 but it wouldnt be worth it. They are really only good for kids shooting at barn doors or clubbing rabbits to death lol. -
Hi all im getting a bsa lightning as a project paying 40 for the rifle needs a new trigger spring which was in my previos post regarding how to fit it im now sorted on it. What i did want to do was convert it to a .177 Someone said to me wouldnt bother as they shoot crap in .177 But is that true? I will be litterly gutting the whole rifle with all new seals polishing every internal part plus the trigger components will also get polished up. What are your views on converting it to a .177 is it worth it? Thanks in advance

I have restored this rifle myself it has the standard 90 barrel at full length which i had threaded i reblued the whole rifle replaced all the seals re lubed and re assembled wood is walnut shoots really nice and smooth and with the parker hale silencer is deadly quite.
