baw pal a good dog will talk for himself people lie thats human nature so to avoid all the hassel why not put a dog on a dvd and let people judge them rather than say my mate seen him kill 49 out 50 or they see him killing 5 for breakfast another 5 for lunch lol, louth tiger has a top class little dog he has proved himself for 4 seasons and is on at least 10 dvds and his owner never on here bumming him up and he is a lot less that 500 for service, so its makes you wonder about lads, jmho

iv had lurchers for the past 17 years with no saluki in them and iv had sum bad 1s but some top class dogs in big and small land what sum people dont realise is that any breed of a dog can be a good 1 it just depends if they have it or not -

lads im not going to name them because these lads would only be looking for rows and shit talk saying they only pups ect so you cant win i just hope them and other lads that hunt in summer get sum common sence and have a bit of respect for the landoweners and the longears and wait till the cattle go in and the longears harden up... and as i said already if lads waited untill the right time of year and ran the longears fair they would not be many killed.

i saw these men last sunday on a piece of ground that i have a bit permission on but the problem is the farmer is a gentleman and will let any 1 on hunting as long as they do no damage so my hands are tied on the matter i cant tell them to clear off when the farmer says it ok, see the thing is i have no problem with any 1 hunting anywhere as long as they use fair law, but to be going out this time year with any dog over 12 months old is a joke in my opinion, if all the lads that go out killing soft summer longears stopped there would be a lot more in the winter to run, and the amazing thing is

i think that the hares in kildare may be better hares to stay running but i think the hares around parts of galway are very tricky theres a lot of sheep wire with barbed wire on top it very dangerous you would need a fairly clever dog, il get you up this season shadow for a few days coursing, your dogs should do fine as its similar to your part of the country so im told
