    Hi , It is in the Countrymans Weekly page 10 that the lurcher and terrier show is cancelled this year. A real shame lovely show in a lovely spot.

    No i don't know who the judge is I haven't asked! at least I put my real name to my posts on here. I just think its a shame when "local shows" clash they all suffer in the long run I would much rather attend a hunt show than a country fair at least you know where the money is going.

    Don't know if would be possible for you move your show date at this late stage, but there are loads of shows on in the midlands that day, warwicks, ibstock, heythrop, etc. Im affraid no-one will get a great turn out that day too many shows on!. I wish you luck with your show. I know how much effort it takes to put on a show.

    really good show they put a lot of effort into the day

    My brother nearly died from it years ago he was yellow, the hospital didn't know what it was, luckly our GP's wife drove past our farm and saw some rats the suggested they tested for weils desease it came back positive and they cured it, it was lucky he was so fit or he wouldn't have survived.

    I tend to use Cut-Heal (Liquid) avaliable at most horsey places, the dogs dont lick it like they do with blue spray its really good,

    We use shredded paper, straw tends to hold parasites, if you decide to use straw make sure its not barley straw.

    I only keep dogs I dont breed myself if someone with a nice bitch uses the dog I have a pup back instead of charging a stud fee. A lazy way do it but it works for us!

    What was said over the tanoy was that Roly bred 19 of the finalists, The final 4 dogs were all bred by roly.
