  1. Yeah the gun shop zeroed it in, he said that it was ok at 35 but as i havnt fired it i will re test it and may have to adjust it. Thanks for the info though its good to hear others oppinions as im new to this :-)
  2. Will let you know when i get out friday, i also hae some dome ones too just to get a feel for which ones work better :-)
  3. Hi guys, just bought my new shooter, its a Hatsan striker 1000s with Steoeger 3-9x40 scope. Have zeroed it in a 35yards with Bisley Pest control pellets which should do the trick for my first night out on friday.   5. That looks the part, thanks for the pics and advice, good magpie too makes target practice better haha. Think i shall do something along these lines, take it the slabs take the pellets to prevent riccochets? Regards Rik
  6. Hi guys, i was wondering if anyone has made a home range for targets, if so whats the best thing to use as a bullet catcher to prevent wayward pellets causing me agro with the neighbours :-) Was thinking of a sandbag behind some insulation or similar. Any help would be great Atb Rik

Yeah a good service is on the cards, thats my first plan to make sure it is all up to scratch as i dont want to mame my quarry as thats not very ethical, good pointers with the pellets i will most probably start with them and do some targets before I charge into the furry friends lol. I am also planning on Restoring the stock with a few ideas i saw on another post so watch this space. Thanks for all your help, i am sure i will get to show off my kills at some point :-)

  10. Ok kool thats a start, i will post a pic of it as it was my fathers rifle and hasnt been fired for many years, its definatly a break barrel spring single shot rifle. That much i do know haha. Im sure there is someone here who has seen one like it before so maybe in with some luck.
  11. Hi guys, am after a bit of knowedge as i am new to shooting, what do i need to consider when looking to purchase pellets? I have seen loads of different numbers but all i know is my rifle is a .22. I will be focusing on wabbits mainly. Any help would be great Rik
