If youve got a soft mouthed dog that retrieves live to hand, take off dog and let the odd one go without dog seeing, at least then your putting something back, ie, if you caught 10, and let 5 go, just a thought. the countryside would be a sad old place without rabbits, and yes baldock there are large parts of the south east that has shortage to say 3-4 years ago. We all love our sport, so lets try and help ourselves to carry on enjoying something we hold dear, let the odd one go or two..

By Richard Cley - London Correspondent-There is a lot of talk about what would actually happen when the British National Party came in to power. Mostly the mainstream media parrot Westminster politicians and their lies. This means British voters are misinformed by a terrified regiment of government apparatchiks, who know that their days as slavish Quislings for the corrupt EU would be at an end. The first act of the first British National Party cabinet meeting would be to abolish all debt, whether national debt or personal unsecured debt. Our people should not be held in permanent slavery t

The met office are claiming that they predicted this storm 5 days in advance, and named it Storm St Jude. When the truth best be known by all at the hunting life, this storm, The PIERS CORBYN STORM, was actually predicted 6 weeks ago by Mr Piers Corbyn From Weather action, and this man should have more recognition, as he keeps getting his way in advanced longrange weather forecasts correct, while the met take all the fame, for Something achieved by another, the met office know exactly who piers Corbyn is But because he will not toe the political correct nonsence about climate change dri

Still got a night tracker but its only 400,000 candle power I am sure they done a 1million candle power nitetracker tats, I'm certain they did mate....
-
Looking back I think the nitetracker would give the light force striker a good run for its money.. The lightforce is only 530 or 570,000 candle power, and that is light forces own claim With the blitz head it is then 1,million cp,, and you can still get the nitetracker with a powerpack, Does any body else remember the nitetracker? What a lamp for its day......

Best weather site is weather action, Piers Corbyn, go and have a look, very interesting.

We drove all the way out to Hampshire one night lamping, l had one of those square orange metal cased batteries with car seat belt type straps . We lamped a rabbit for my friends dog which he run and caught, now it was my run, I was lamping plus slipping my old bitch bonny, we had literally been in the field no more than 5 mins, so I put the lamp on a rabbit just ready to slip the dog and a fecking great blue flash and flames from the battery where CIG lighter plugs into it, I went one way the battery and lamp went up in the air, and the dog was cowering on the floor as if I was going to beat

Its strange really from that first night out on that golf course, right up to now, and I still enjoy lamping as much with a passion. Its a pity that decent vid cameras weren't about in those days either, like of the quality they are today, imagine getting some film of being out lamping in 1979, cor that would of made some good viewing, back then the fields were heaving, watership down come to mind. I know you can't beat getting out and doing it yourselves, and I know there are some good lamping DVD's out there, but I hope they bring a few more out, showing all manner of crosses with some rea

What lamps was you using back in the late 70s early 80s? The first time I went lamping' way back in 1979, my friend was using a made Up lamp on a bit of old broomstick as the handle, an old car headlight and a doorbell Pusher as the on off switch. We lamped the local golf course and the bitch caught 3 rabbits. From that day forward I was hooked, but was not allowed to have my own dog till I was about 16. But looking back over the years, and what with all the different types of lamps we used then, up to today's lamps we use now. Lamps like the square brinkman quartz halogen 50.000 cp , but
