    hi all, was wondering what peoples opinion on a jacker is. today i slipped me 2year old dog on a longear had a cracking run around 4 minutes and killed it. then another hare jumped up about 75 yards away and he started to chase it half hearted for about 20 seconds and the hare got miles away and he stoped. he always gives 100%. would people consider this as a jacker?

    iceman its the black dog in my profile picture.will put 1 up later. his breed is stevie (lucky x mouse) x with a wheaton greyhound from thetford. got him off a bloke called macca on here

    ive got 2 dogs. a saluki x weatongreyhound 2 years old and a 13 month full saluki. was walking near where i live about 20 minutes ago and let them of the lead like normal and they bolted straight towards a fox. i never slipped on a fox before. they chased it towards the main road and my saluki x caught it. tthe fox bit my pup and he ran off but my big dog ripped into it and i couldnt seperate them so i just waited and he killd it.the fox was quite big but its the 1st time hes killed 1. i stick to longears but i actually liked this accident. heart was beating like a fcuker

    i got 2 salukis.1 is a cross out of lucky and he is a great allrounder but my other is pure saluki out of khan and i ner go lampin with him.hes my daytime longears only. but i agree great dogs

    lol ive just got back from collecting the shogun.it was too cheap to let go so ile just sell it on or something and gor for a landy or fourtrak.cheers

    looking to buy a truck for the season.i used a freelander last year. ive got the chance of a cheap lwb diesal shogun.between us we got 3 dogs. do you think it would be a good choice or wait and shop about?

    great thread. i split with my misses last year.my dog was the main reason.she would sit watching the shitty soaps and ide be out lampin 3-4 nights a week.came home 1 day and she had moved everything out the house.got myself another saluki and my new misses even comes with me sometimes. i think uve got hunting in you or you aint

    hi all.quite new to the game but me dog has got a rough cough and a runny nose.seems like a cold to me but is there much i can do to help him? how long will it take to get better and should i rest him completly.all answers appreciated. craig

    i got a saluki and i lovehim to bits.hes 13 months a nd does his job well daytime. as for training him well i just take him out all the time with my other dog and he lernt from him. they will naturally chase anything but definitly patience pal

    ime new to the game but i would say ime a 5/6 ish.i do my best to understand what my dogs want but at the same time i push them very hard to get what i want from them

    i was walking a bit of local land yesterday and must of seen 20 odd hares. was only walking so didnt slip my dogs and i saw a man walking towards me and a tractor coming the other way so i walked upto the man who was the gamekeeper.he gave us permission to course the land november onwards and even swaped phone numbers with me.its really big land with lots of sport on it.local too. normaly get told to fcuk off but must of caught him on a good day. get innnn
