Any one read a romp with carp by albert romp ? good book and very entertainig .

i tend to use alot of pevedine(iodine solution) dialuted with water to a tea like color (no milk ) and dab onto any small to medium(not gaping) cuts grazes ect it does my terriers and spaniels fine . also odd bandage,clean water,asprin quarter for terriers half for spaniels. scissors bloodstop by the way pevidine is very inexpensive same stuff they use in operations in vets. 500ml bottle from my vet for nowt as he says its pennys to buy.(looks abit queer my vet so he might just like me ALOT . Dont know if this will help but! i been training spaniels for 15 years now and nine times out of ten poor retrieves are down to over doing it,now i know nothing about lurchers but it goes for most dogs 2-3 retrievs is more than enough during training for a spaniel per training session,my training sessions only last 20mins anight and if he/she doesnt behave they dont get the retrieve at all .they soon learn if they do as they told they get more retrieves,but saying that i always start my young dogs retrieves standing (throwing) send the dog then kneel down and give her the whistle to come back

any shooting schools by u ? most will let u try before u buy? and if they wont sod em they lose the sale

i had a browning gold 3" for about 6 years good gun but last season i bought a winchester super x2 3half mag real nice gun and i use it for everything ducks fox geese pigeon u name it and it does the biz. and at about £550.00 brand new u cant go wrong and that is in real tree, free trigger lock and slip thrown in. n/wales shooting school i got it . spins foxes well dogrun
