  3. the trouble with people who dont back fill ,is they go back time after time and dig the whole set up ,after a couple of seasons the sets fecked and all the tubes are full of water,and it can be some time before someone moves back in ,i back filled 3 holes in one of my favorite sets the season before last only to find it had been dug again when i returned the next time ,and geuss what they never back filled again people like this have no respect as far as im concerned and are only into there dogs for a few seasons and then go back to the rock they crawled out from
  4. One question.....would it work with the Pieps Locator (The b+f one?). Iv found some U.S websites that work out a damn site cheaper than b+f yes mate it will work with any reciever box as they are all on the same freqency ,be carefull with buying from usa cos they put import tax on ,and it can workout costing you more ,i went for the tracker £200 about £50 cheaper than the peips and a bit fast on the readings . think its selwyn who can get the ortovox box and transmitter collar for £250 good luck
  5. very nice selwyn thats got to be the best one yet by a mile ,how much are they as this could swing me back in the favour of the ortovox ,got my tracker last week just need a collar now ,and the smaller bellman is out in november ,,its thoughs disicions again
  6. bellman and flint say november sometime for new smaller collar ,waiting for 1 myself ,just got the tracker reciever box for £200 ,compared to the peips box its not as slow and is about 50 quid cheaper
  7. make sure you put a locator collar on her when bushing ,if she doe,s go to ground (and she will) at least you can do your bit too help her out ,no good her coming out after hours of punishment , you got a nice looking terrier there, and a nice size to good luck with her and your digging

  11. i gave a lakie dog to a mate about four year ago now ,the dog was bang on and had never let me down once ,after the lad had about ten digs with him he phoned me one morning pissed off saying he had just come off his quarry, after having a good face full ,and wasnt happy with the dog ,he said the dig was about 7 ft and they had dug about five ,itold him he probebly killed it ,and to finish the dig to see ,anyway fox was there dead right under dig , just wandering how many people would finish the dig to see if the dog has done right or would they have shook there head ,and got rid of dog ,the

  13. selwyns already put it up ,it only works to about 4 ft underground ,but seems to work on ferrets( to 4 ft) and above ground ,i would not trust it on a dog and they would,nt give the more expensive model on test ,so they must no something we dont ,,,dont bother mate ,stick to one of the tested ones
  14. very nice dog mate,you need to shrink the pics more,i go on a site called shrinkpictures.com and is free i shrink them by 50%and can fit them all in one topic,try it out. cheers greggy will try that if i get another few picture tommorow try photobucket to if no joy ,think it resizes for you

  19. was out on land i'd never been on before,n decided to let my russell bitch and lakey dog run loose collared up ,in some cover that ran close to a small river , dogs put a fox up and off they went in chase ,and was twenty mins or so before we found them ,the russell bitch have got stuck in a weir pool on river and had drowned ,thats a lesson to be learnt ,and a big f--k up sad sad day
  20. http://beaconreviews.com/transceivers/Specs_OrtovoxS1.htm gd waz ,what collar was you using mate was it a bellman or same one as levelers ortovox ,as i am thinking of getting same as levs ,just waiting for more info on them ,levs did you know the tracker only has enough battery power to locate for an hour ,so might be a prob if you lucky enough to get a few digs in 1 day , ,,,the new s1 is being released soon and also the new bellman collar is out xmas time a lot smaller than the last one and is rechargable ,ive put link up for anyone who wants to take a look ,as there are that many boxs now
