So, do you reckon one with a history of lameness would be preferable to one which was sound but just 'a bit slow' to make it on the track?no not at all mate. But all the dogs at my kennels have made the track like. If I was around a dog that wasn't fast enough for the track that would of course be the better choice. When I say lame I mean fixable lame for example there's a dog there now with a sprained hock she will run again but age isn't on her side (she's 3) and she was never really anygood anyway so she's been retired.
