    I know a lot of folk who have f**ked up their HW100's due to powering them up because their used to guns that you can feel a twang through when shot, but the 100's are not like that, they lead you to think that they are under powered, but if anyone believes their gun is, then just get a mate to shoot you on the arse cheek and tell me that they're under powered at 10.5, and don't forget to post the pix of your bruise on here, I could do with a laugh You've more chance of finding yourself owning a overpowered one than a underpowered one in my experience !

    Can you purchase the rifle directly from him mate and ask for it to be tuned at the same time ? I'm looking at getting myself another HW and at the moment I'm leaning towards a HW80.

    Don't ever ever sell a HW springer thats been lovingly tuned, it's a crime I'm sure of it...............

    I must admit that one of the off putting things for me with the HW97 was adding a silencer, as in my opinion the under-levers look wank with a add on. My HW77 has no silencer at all and I wouldn't dream of ruining it with one ! In fact it's why my next Weihrauch springer will properly end up being a HW80-K, it's one sexy looking rifle with it's Weihrauch moderator. f**k me I'm vain !

    When it comes to springers look to Weihrauch's nothing compares really to a well tuned one these days. Sadly BSA don't turn out quality rifles like they used to and even when they did the Lightning range was nothing to shout about. PCP's are a different story altogether though and when it comes to them your spoilt for choice.
