  1. dont know the chap dont want to know him but bringing his mam an dad into it is a bit much could be the nices people you could meet and not there fault the son is a twat
  2. I would have to disagree somewhat mate. I must admit that I have strolled through the Deadgame Message board, his website, Booth's website, JJ's website, southern patterdale's site, etc. Every website or messageboard that's associated with Booth is associated with peddling. The deadgame messageboard, in my opinion, was developed for nothing more than to further the peddling of Booth's terriers. Everyone there including the mods approve of, and incourage peddling. I think the mod and the blokes that own it are the biggest shite peddlers in our sport today, imo, or at least their actions and pos

  4. Patterdale Terriers= That is nothing more than a designer name given to the Fell Terrier to help blokes peddle. point blank!
  5. http://patterdaleterrier.info/?page_id=24 I guess its not enough that the man has a website kennel and a messageboard devoted to peddling, now this, a Patterdale Terrier blog, when will it end?  I would also like to know if you lads here feel that the statement about Robert Booth is accurate? all the best mates.
  6. Many thanks for all the kind replies mates, I brought him in today for a bit of socialization and a game of tug. I really like his attitude, as he is an extremly outgoing puppy and shows no fear even out of the comfort of his home or yard. I took these pics of him just before he was put back outside. all the best.
  7. yes mate, best digging pants known to man. You can complete a whole dig, handle the quarry and terriers after and not one speck of soil will stick to those brighty whities...
  8. I must agree with your observations, sure is some kind of bright, bleach white, dungarees without even a tad bit of dirt on them. For fecks sake lad, I get more dirt on me fetching the morning read, I'm serious. Judging by your posts, pics, the peddling of pups from terriers that have never been entered or that you well know are rubbish, your views on breeding terriers, and gathering from what I've read from lads over there, I'd say you qualify for an account on deadgames messageboard. You will fit in there great with hagen and firestone a.k.a. masta-of-game, you will discover that they and a
  9. i have a litter of chocolate patterdale terriers ..1 boy left .. mum is chocoalate smooth old nuttal lines and father is chocolate and tan broken coat old nuttal x n.stevens lines ... mum and dad from working parents ..parents are very game .. pups will make good pets or work.. Ha! Ha! Ha!, that is funny!! Yes FTB, I know the feeling, I am replying to this rubbish so this thread will bump to the top and keep us hurting from laughter for days to come and in hope more see just what this lad is all about. Out of honesty, looking at that litter's looks, and after discovering his lies he posted
  10. not talking about 1 cert dog iam talking about terriers in general, the years ive worked terriers never have i had 1 that couldnt find. ive had plenty that have failed for other reasons but not because they couldnt use their nose, from pups they are treated like 1 of the family not locked away til they are 14or 15 months, heard many say "that dog cant find" on a earth when they should be saying "doesnt want to find" just wanted some other views on this. this goes for older dogs to they have had a hard dig that as made them very weary of the quarry and either bay on scent or will not get
  11. I have in the past paid for dogs, but the last 4 dogs I got (let me say the best 4) I paid a handshake and my word they would be worked.
  12. shame, why did he die? I believe he stated that he had a hard dig in which he had three foxes dead when they broke through to him. Or that would be my guess. Evidently the little terrier did his part 110% and left a tad bit too much of himself in the field that day and couldn't recover from the stick he took accomplishing his feat. There is a bright side to this though, the wee dog could have walked away from the quarry, point blank!! It is a shame that he didn't pull through, but, he is damn sure worth being proud of knowing he stayed when about % of the terriers today couldn't and wouldn
  13. Mr. Jones, I would love to ask a few questions sir if you have time and dont mind, you can pm answers if you choose. In your time of working and producing (in my opinion a terrific line) what Terrier had the most impact on your line? And why? many thanks in advance mate, all the best
  14. Sounds like he was a real grafter, it always makes it hard on the heart when a good one is lost. cheers
  15. Sire and dam was and is workers, whom in turn bred from workers for generations, and he goes back to the Old True Working Nuttall lines. (Punch, Penny, etc.) I know I have read a lot of slander about Nuttall, but, I think there is good and bad in every line, it is up to us as individuals to work our stock to ensure the proper traits are in tact with EVERY INDIVIDUAL TERRIER, and only breed the terriers that prove themselves by displaying these traits... all the best lads.
  16. Thanks for the replys lads, he is roughly 18 months old, I wanted to make sure he was mentally mature as well as physically before I even started him. He has seen only a limited amount of vermin as of now because I just got started with him, but, as I said, "He is showing a very strong dislike for Vermin, and, is showing well so far. all the best.
  17. Thanks STUNTMAN, His true working weight should be about 15 or 16 pounds, and that may be giving him some. He has some fat right now but I plan to trim him down a bit and weigh him. I will let you know. He is not quite 12 inches tall but he is solid mate, a little wad of muscle he is, so he weighs a bit more than he looks. Not that it makes a feck, but I can span him with my hands and still have a bit of finger overlapping. I've seen some that was not hand spannable, but, they didn't know it, and Pure Hunt Drive got them there, stuffed themselves places some small dogs wouldn't dare go.
  18. Just thought I would post a few pics of my fell type, prospect that I am just getting started on. He is really game driver and shows a strong dislike for vermin. So far he has shown well but again I'm just getting started with him, after a full season I will know more about him, so only time will tell. all the best mates. Grafter-Man
  19. I agree with an easy first season but after the first one and the terrier has fully matured and had his eyes truly opened I dig as much as their body can physically handle without comprimising their health. Helps you to find out just what kind of workers you have.
  20. not interested, i like digging to terriers. but yeah it can be a hassle sometimes You could have fooled me by your posts, I thought you said your male has never been dug to and the 13 month old bitch was bred to him??
  21. they were all bred to protect lads investments rather than due to their working ability, hence, why all the real ones are gone.. It's happening to all the types these days mate just take a stroll on the board you will find several examples of such.
  22. They didnt work because I was forced to breed because I paid too much for their sire and dam.
