Well heres my BULL X WHIPPET, for rabbits and rats, thrown whippety and petite but wonder what she would of been like at a mature age preban shes just about 4months here, got abit more slimmer and shaped in the past couple weeks

true mate, ive thought about handling the bigger quarry, but ive also heard good stuff about how some can do them on there own and effeciantly!

smaller fields, extra gear of the mark? and your mum wanted a smaller dog (whippet height) in the house Cant say as i havent seen one, BUT would they be quicker, would the frame of the whippet make for a heavier/slower dog rather than using the size of the greyhound? Just a thought...... depends how it throws, mines whippety with a proportioned head for a pup obviously, but got abit of strength behind her already!! but i can see where your coming from!

Got a pup myself, 5/8 whippet 3/8 bull, aiming for about 18/19 tts, she's small and through whippety but got a strong jaw and head at 4months

Actually thinking back now, i met a few people by my house when i had first got my Whippet puppy, people said nice dog, etc you should try it, was skeptic, thinking back now, i remeber a man i met by a pump station, lovely pack, lurcher and a big bull x and i think another dog, not sure, the dog was huge and black, told me give the whippet ago, never seen him again for years untill i joined this site to find he only lived down the road! -

Only just got into it, wanted a ''real dog'' when i was younger, ended up with a whippet, living where i live and people i met i soon realised a running dog is possibly the funnest dog you could have and i hope to enjoy hunting for years to come!
