  1. Nice One Markha, book marked for later. But im also after advice/tips, any ideas?
  2. Hey just wondering if you lads know any good sites or books for hunting rabbits with dogs. Any kind of hunting is good im just doing some research in genrel. Cheers
  3. One good way to get ferrets keen before a trip is to feed them off unsuited rabbit(you dont need the guts) and they will then link the smell with food. They should work but in the end only one to truely find out.
  4. Damn the season being so far away huh? They look a lovely pair, best of luck!
  5. No Thanks, I 100% agree with bolt. The good old fashioned way is the best as always!
  6. Dont know about most, maybe 25? But my most impressive was 14 out of 4 hole. Once had 6 from one dig too.
  7. I dont like the idea of keeping a ferret inside because it seems unfair without reason. Ferrets love being outside im sure of it. But the sink would put any sane person off
  8. This thread is particular to my instrests! Any idea who wrote the book 'From peg to peg' and where i can buy it online? My old mate recomended it!
  9. My old mans a butcher and he brings home all kinds of meat from all kind of animals, if there is any truth to this it is such a small issue its not worth worring about. My ferrets are some of the healtiest you'l ever see
  10. Such a shame when this kind of thing happens to a healthy dog. Not seen it happen yet but I knew one fellow who had his dog put down because of Epilepsy, but im sure you'l be glad to hear it lived a very happy and fairly long life until that point!
  11. I really feel for you, hope you get them all back!
  12. I like Silver backs, easy to spot with looks of charm about them.
  13. What I find amazing is when ferrets dont eat something i offer them!
