  1. Welcome to the forum matey If it was me id be using anything i could to get rid of them but as to give you some advise id just trap them all and (which is legal if you check your traps daily) im not 100% on the rules behind it as its not really my area but im sure a more experienced forum member can give you more advice on this and what is legal and isnt. ATB and good luck with your problem
  2. AGREED and when the hob comes season I dont even think you could get used to it. mine absolutly stink
  3. yh pretty immature of him but ive seen in a few posts him doing the exact same. Burny2011 is just out to cause problems and nothing interesting to say someone asks a question if Nobby2011 doesnt agree he turns it into an argument (of which he knows nothing) get rid of him
  4. well you will probs end up getting the shovel out at this point in the year in all honesty. but up to you. as i said id go for it, but thats just me and each to their own. ferreting can be a waiting game in any standards so.
  5. i can see why a silver back would be easy to spot. but i just dont think i could get one down the holes i go for what is it your hunting really
  6. That is quite BAD But he was tunneling through a dune so you can bet thats gonna be dangerous. is there a penalty for digging dunes now ? who would you have to see for permission for ferrets on dunes ?

  10. if a rabbit can make its way around. then so will a ferret. some people say your collars will get snagged up but ive never really had that problem. i would go for it anyways its all about the sport
  11. no sorry never really come across them always been fields bushes etc. but that may be just me not gettin about would like to hear if anyone has and their experience though.
  12. i cant understand why someone gives an opinion and then someone just has to flame. everyone is always learning and always will be. anyways burney2011 chill out ur not gonna get very far on these forums being a d**k. back to subject, ive never found any problems feeding a ferret pork. as people have said its just the same as any other meat in alot of aspects. and just rumours. if you havnt had problems feeding your ferrets pork and they seem healthy enough then carry on. i personally dont feed mine pork but each to their own. ignore the idiots.
  13. i dont think it matters. so long as it works who cares.
  14. @ tb25 welcome to the forums.
  15. nice season get ready for the next and keep it up
  16. in my experience. do as much research as possible always helps but then its same as anything you actually start realising your own ways and tricks to make things easier, you will make mistakes and its same with everything but thats the only way your going to realise what you really need. how many nets to take out. how many ferrets etc. ferreting is straight forward in some aspects but can turn into a very hectic sport anyways hope i sort of helped i think its all down to experience it doesnt take long to pick up if youve done some research Tom
  17. you can check pictures on search engines they will show you what you need to see. its pretty obvious though when theyre ready to be put with a hob and i keep my jills seperate to my hob and my hobs seperate to other hobs. as people have said they will just keep trying your jill and its not good
