    weres the sense in running down a mans dogs when most of yous run them years ago. surley things move on and breding gets better you just hope the cross you run suits the area u running .

    i had that type of cross many years ago and found they were very easy to start and at 12 mths could take hares single handed.preban

    Hes showing a sister to nailly b bitch now most people i talk say naillys one is the best dog in ireland at the min. E.R bred them and sold naillys one at 16 months he was running the two bitches together he said the one he keep was way better and he offered to run a match with nailly b but he wouldent run.As far as i know nailly boy has run anyone in ireland that would run and has offered some men a run and they wouldent run him .So it would sound like the dog that comes out of this on top can be classed as the best or near the best in ireland im sure the winner will be happy to run anyone t

    aye ones that run up holes when a dog gets near them i never see that in ireland. I have seen them do it regular in the north only in the 1 area though i thought it was a freak but every time we hunted the place they hit the rabbit holes.

    i agree it was a brillant run but the topic is about coursing dogs in ire and long runs and i have never seen a 6 minute run and not to many boys on here have either as said before 3 to 4 mins in ire is classed a a goodun.i wish i had a dog that could get me a few runs like that for next season but then im easy pleased.

    aye I,ve watched the video and I must say I am impressed with the amount of stamina, however to say a grew type won,t kill these hares is a bold statement, how do you know a grew type wouldn,t have killed that hare and done it quicker, up and at them types can also run clever use the angles etc trust me .they dont kill those hares .they are usually blown away and or the hare has beaten em into cover .only saluki hybrid type lurchershave that coursing brain and the physical attributes to get on top of a strong hare like this one and break it and ultimately kill it. if you had done any coursi

    its takes a goodun to do both but if bred right there out there i only hunt ire but in eng there are no hidding places the dog has to be good or the hare will find his weakeness

    do you not struggle to see these 3 and 4 min runs in ireland every week or do you get them all the time i used to get them now and again of an old red bitch i got for free wish i could get 1 as good as her again .
