Why smooth,why a collie type,a bullx,a whippety,a pug?????.Personal choice and preference. !. did i ask you......... many types come under a rough coat.........not all work the same.......... You asked on an open forum,i was unaware not all lurcher types work or even look the same,learn something every day,even from a feckwit. no need to spit your dummy out and start name calling now.......... just saying a rough coat is not narrowed down to one type...........

Personal preference if that's alright with you? It will be a pet as well as tool. If theres rough coated dogs capable of doing the same job as smooth ones then i think it's important that i find my ideal looking bitch. I'm not the type to get rid of a dog, ill own it for life so i really dont see the harm in that. I'm pretty sure theres a lot of people on here with a preference for the way a dog looks and make a decision based on that. If all rough coated lurchers were a pile of shit in the field they wouldnt exist and even if they did i wouldnt want one :laugh: ok you crack on........

at a wild guess id say to shoot.............. there not the turkeys we eat at christmas tho, there wild turkeys like these.................. well the ones i seen were........... There the fellas, they fly ok if you have good ground to flush them off, if the grounds flat I wouldn't bother, takes a let's say sharper gun dog to get them to lift them trialing crap are no good, lol, it also gives the keeper a extra bit of cash at a £ 100 donation if shot & cull the rest for Xmas for the best free range turkeys you'll get.. I did how ever hear your not ment to do it but hey
