  1. most lamps are to used with 12v, i think .. and most lamps got the cigarrette plug in, you might like it, try it..but i doubt you will unless you got patience of a saint..anyway i wouldnt opt for lower than a 14 amp battery mate, hope you get it right
  2. what you after? just curious , and when? as iv just sold my gun and having a new one on the 19th...plus im not a local lad that might put u off as iv seen alot of people saying locals only etc..
  3. it depends if you want the stupid cigarette thing on it, id opt for chopping the thing off, as you go to have a shine and its loose (F**CKING NIGHTMARE!!) and i think aslong as its a 12v battery you should be fine...chop the cigarette connector off nd bolt it to the battery mate, makes life stress free haha!
  4. iv used this, the lightforce striker 170 and the blitz, and i would opt for the striker 170 with dimmer, as the blitz is abit cumbersome for me, go on arthur carters site, he has all diffrent kits on there, but i would recommend the striker 170 with a tidy amp battery, because like i said 2hrs is not long when you think the amount of land you'll cover , 2hrs really isnt that long, IMO ATB rob
  5. its the 100w with 7 amp battery? its about quid? if so iv been using my mates that he bought, comes with red filter and aluminium box? theyre alright i suppose pitty they didnt have a dimmer, because the 7 amp battery doesnt hold out so long lol id advise you to go for a larger amp battery , unless your not out for like 2 or more hrs..but as for the lamp, they all do pretty much the same thing mate
  6. some simple explanation lol last time i tried i could only upload to my galley on here , thanks mate, il get some pics up on the 19th, date im getting it, cant wait swear im ten years old again :L

  8. the diana is actually gone :) well in the morning

  9. id go for a lurcher mate, i dont hear mine unless it needs to go out for a shit, a little wine, nudge of the hand and she waits by the patio door lol great company and once you get em running its a good feeling..haha! just be patient with them thats what i found, diffrent breeds can be more sensitive than others but all need patience.
  10. Btw, you could always have a nice diana 280 carbine, a springer im selling one, but it looks like il just be keeping it as to many people promise what just isnt going to happen .." il have it really intrested etc" lol anyway, happy shooting and thats all you have to do is buy scopes, comes with silencer and once piece mounts, £170 and its yours
  11. take a look at how they operate though, i also looked for a long time, and the ultra was abit to potchy for me, they say you dont have to move to reload etc, but same apllies with a bolt? i dont have to take the gun off target to reload a bolt gun, and find this less work, i then looked at the s200, but i just didnt like the stock, didnt fit me, i felt abit hunched over same as the ultra really..just go to a dealers, hold all guns from 300-600, as theres a good few guns in that range, bsa's , AA's etc. what ever gun you choose, there'll always be one that some thinks is better etc, but all d
  12. dont get the webley raider, i havent owned one but after alot of advice i got put off, seem one in the shop, and the build quality is naff, and would piss me off, i have also learnt to be patient and make doo with saving a tad...il be a proud owner of a huntsman classic on the 19th, cant f**king wait so in other words, dont rush to buy or youll being rushing to sell lol
  13. cant upload pics but if intrested can send via phone etc one piece scope mounts, silencer and grease has been added to the spring as it was dry from factory, its on about 11.8 with bisley superfield .177, in full working order, excellent condition and has been oiled and wiped down after every use, it has been stripped from stock when out in the rain for a thorough dry out, reluctant sale but im getting a pcp, excellent gun for anyone as its mid weight and full power. very accurate gun, sad to see it go £175 south wales Rob!
  14. yeah il have a shot at it soon as it comes from the shop cant wait for the arrival of my huntsman now..been wanting it for over a year and thought" im not paying that for a gun" but temptation has over powered me and i got one in the end, i couldnt resist :L
  15. needs this diana 280 to go

  16. il have to take a look at both linseed and walnut oil like, can you scrw it up though? because if you can , no doubt i will lol
  17. and i dont want a glossy finish, just what the grain to become darker and stand out more thanks
  18. so use ccl oil then tru oil? and im sure its been oiled but i want the grain to come through more? is it any chance of that ?
  19. what would be the best walnut oils i could put on the stock, and would it affect it if its already had the stock oiled or not? thanks for any replys, sensible ones lol
  20. same things happening to me with my greyhoundy bitch, shes 29tts, and doesnt hang back, im glad shes going hell for leather at them, cos it shows shes keen as mustard but at the same time your quincing and abit gutted that shes doesnt know to hang back a little like, otherwise she would of caught by now, other than that shel soon click, dogs aint stupid

  23. anyone fancy giving me a twink mk2 then? lol oj how much and what size are they? everyones on about them
  24. i know, my mate wans the hw one, but he wants it now and im not having the gun till the 20ths like , so was just wondering what one to keep etc, the daystate one only adds 3 inches and the hw one adds like 6-7 inches or so doesnt it, just wondering what peoples opinion would be, whether its worth the extra length to keep the hw one lol but like i said iv only heard the huntsman firing blank, and the hw was noticeable, but on reviews in the mag it says that the daystate only works when the pellet is fired because it adds back pressure therefore pushing the air back into the barrel...your views?
