  1. Lol buster you make me laugh... He will only end up getting pissed off with the thing in the end, no insult there, he's just saying it how it is...for an extra 60-70 quid he could get a hatsan ...where's mole?
  2. P.s, hopefully it'll be run in soon...the nipper put about 600 through it the otherday down the range lol
  3. Jsb 4.53,4.52 , aa field 4.52, h&n 4.50( although these go through a 4.52 pellet sizer ,tighter fit than any 4.52 pellet iv tried)lol Pellets that don't cycle to clever are the defiants, some rws superdomes. But the superdomes group ok too. Iv not had any decent weather, to try it out..but the first lot of pellets I can get it to group under a 5p just, at 35yrds..sitting in a ditch resting on my knees lol in the wet an mud. To be honest Si, the groupings would shrink if it were someone else shooting , and if I could get a nice indoor range, resting lol all the ranges I know if round he
  4. If I were you I'd ring daystate mate. Plus it is a Harper valve no reg, so going from rifle to rifle I'd imagine it vary.
  5. Iv bought ultra se , for the nipper. It's a great gun accurate, few pellet brands are hard work to cycle through..but once you got the right pellet its bang on. I get about 35-40 shots, not really tested it out properly yet..still bedding in. Good luck.
  6. Cheers for the reply, iv been looking at the n1000 , an nm800 but that is abit out of budget. Lol I suppose at first with the challenger Aslong as I can see a fair amount for the sub 12 it'll be [bANNED TEXT], wouldn't mind using it to spot stuff out with dog too though. Has anyone used the one above? Do u know if it will be enough? Cheers
  7. Right just want to make sure the extra ir you can buy with it is suitable for out to 150yrds +/- doesn't matter if its only good out to 80yrds, but be nice to.have further. http://www.scottcountry.co.uk/products-Pulsar-Challenger-GS-and-DSA-Night-Vision-Riflescope-Kit-4290.htm Think its 805 flashlight, down bottom..cheers
  8. What I read is laser ir damages the tube of the pulsar?
  9. Same everywhere pretty much, nearly the most amount of rain we have ever had..apparently lol my perms flooded, as a river runs along it..still plenty of squirrels about, and occasional bunny. Atb
  10. ranger81, get a rapid lol they can take a few knocks .. i also have a ultra tac se, accurate, smooth etc, still doesnt feel solid like the mfr though..
  11. id try about 230 mate to be on safe side. my mfr is rated to 250, but only fill it to aroun 220-230 bar. you should expect about 60 i think in .177, alot of people on here should here shortly lol
  12. 177 will be louder than a 22, whether it will be a great deal i couldnt tell you, but .177 takes more ooomph to get the pellet going opposed to the .22. id say a pcp would be first choice if your doing a clearance job..if your doing it because you enjoy it, springer will do. look at me though, and many others, all do it because we like doing it 75% own a pcp lol
  13. and if i wa you, give your dog a break off a certain meat. mix it up a little. dogs are animals, although iv fed mine pasta, with meat etc to get the weight back on her, its not nessary for carbs etc..BARF is the best. animal fat, protein, fiber, calcium etc. i give my dog 5-6 scrammbled eggs, 2 slices of my brown bread in the morn, then feed meat and dried at afternooon lol
  14. f**k cooked, anything raw, even bone. try to knock dried on the head, if you can. iv had to go back to dried, tripe and raw, as my local butchers bummed me off...yet to find another butcher s of yet. even though my bitch i liking the diet of dried minced beef, corned beef, sardines, tuna and tripe etc...its costing lol and having to add bone meal too...where as the butchers stuuf id pick up every week, fill my freezer, an the next week would over lap the last remaining etc...sometimes id have to pay a pound for a bag if i was lucky...one or two full bag of feet kneck ,fat. and about 30 plus carcu
  15. asho i did try sending you pm butt. but your a new one, so wont allow you to ue messaging system. i did write post here too, but it gone, maybe because it wernt about dogs....lol atb mate now i sent this, it shows my last post, now i look a twat
  16. trust me, weather forecast lies lol not only that this winter being so warm, shooting on one of my perms, i saw a very litte rab bolt from hedge yesterday, if your in powys, not very far from there lol i couldnt believe it. i know rabs breed all year round supposedly, but iv never seen a small rab, just over a kitt bolt before this time of year...this too was boggy as furk, only took one squirrel, even though seeing 3 rabs, about 12 squirrels, and more than u can think maggies and crows, just too boggy too noisy, as soon as i thought i had the cross hair settled, i was sinking. lol moon will be
  17. tidy night by the looks mate, good on the dogs
  18. I don't know how the mmc ultra cylinder looks, but the ultra se cylinder has "regged" type slot aswell. None the less , it is proving to be a really accurate gun so far, hitting spinners out to 50yrds, an the tiny spinners. I might take it along with me Saturday for an outing lol
  19. every cal will kill, depends if you know how to put it there
  20. The new ultra se is a little hole puncher too. The mag did jam a tad, but that was with a certain pellet, all others iv tried have been good. It's also quiet once mod is put on..shot count around 40. I have an mfr. Very reliable, straight forward to fix, blisteringly accurate, and pretty quiet too, and big shot count ..both guns are really nice to shoot..
