WTF look at the owner before you start to question the ability of the dog .I`d say that the ownwer is a, whingy,moany, cnut that expects every dog to be a plummer champion,first time out .And what may i add, do you think of the owner??. you,ve been here before lol ehhh?got nowt ,constructive to say then dont make ,assumptions.

So your`e not sure then ?.You would be better off ,shuting up or posting a positive reply.Less of the owners fault does no-one on here,seem to put the dogs interest first ? Not every dog will make it to A+ and as soon as people realise dogs/peoples, limitations then may we move away from the "my dog is at fault posts".

I know ,what i require ,in a lurcher but ,in todays climate the general lurcher/long dog owner, has diffrent requirements.

More info would be appreiciated,was it a runaway,stolen from a yard or dissapeared whilst out on a foray ?. Good luck.

BEDDY .Good looking dog. Among other things... She's a line bred Doxhope bitch (out of Yella) so a degree of Deerhound in the mix. Deffo got deehound in her you can tell by the angle/length from the eyes to the nose.I had a very similar bitch 20 yrs ago that was slate grey and stood a 22" at the shoulder I had her from a pup until 3 yrs old,she was a brilliant hunter,just refused to pick up,no matter what :icon_eek:we kept her in the family untill she passed away at 14yrs.

Now I prefer to be on foot and enjoy the whole night,if i get 0 rabbits or 15 i still enjoy being out.Each to their own.

The eyes of our quarry have a different set up of cones/rods that project the image of light onto the retina,compared to the human .Different coloured filters,generaly just dim the amount of available light that is transfered to the optic nerve .Therfore you may think you are fooling the quarry but you are giving the dog hard time as well.Therefore stop tyring to light up the whole bloody field,go down to 6v and 35 watt with a standard 5 " shrouded lamp and report back.

Not ,the smartest worded post .It makes you sound like a retard .Who cares what other peoples dogs/pups can jump ? just enjoy your time with the pup.Ps my dog can clear a 6ft panel fence with ease on monday but on tuesday he tries to get under a 5 bar gate.

I'll agree that Thatcher f****d the working man, (and not in a nice way !! LOL !!), etc !! Cheers. Please explain ?. As to the miners strike British coal messed things up long before, maggie came into power.Now it does seem strange that coal,heavy industries,have notseen an upsurge in 25 odd yr?.
