Pigeon Decoying On Freshly Drilled Wheat

Great work there mate, quick question, when did they start to drill the wheat on your permission? Just wondered as can't get hold of the farmer at mine at the moment. They only grow wheat and veg on my permission and since they cut it all I'm left with is lettuce but can't shoot over it for obvious reasons.... Cheers matey Ben -
I have a GL2 and it does the trick, however my pressure switch broke withing a couple of outings and the orange and red filters don't work that well (they reduce the light too much so you can't see much) but on white light it does the trick even if the beam is a little too wide. However a mate of mine has the GL4 with a red bulb which in my opinion is better....

Great write up and nice off Wedge to loan you the torch. Bit gutted though with how you found it to be unpracticle as I really thought this was soon going to be my next purchase and a halfway house price wise to going full NV .... oh well sounds like I'll be sticking to the GL2 this winter instead....can't stomach £900 odd pounds for NV!!! thanks for the info folks.

Can't beat simply frying in butter bit of salt and pepper then straight onto toast takes literally 3 mins..... However my missus made an awesome pie this weekend, don't ask me the ingredients but it was the nuts...wives are good for some things!!!

Hahahaha you got sucked into buying more than you expected, that ALWAYS happens to me in the Country Way Gun Shop (i assume w/malling) I don't just set my self a budget when I visit but also an amount of time and if owner with the glasses is there (can't remember his name but always sells more to me than I need) i leave!!!! They're a good bunch of guys in there to be fair. i also have a GL2 and it's good but the pressure switch went wrong after a few time out in the field. Good work though on your bunnies. I don't know any of the issues you lot have had re these scammers and I know it aint funny for the people who have been scammed however, this is the funniest thing I've ever read on here... It's like a "best Of" Jeremy Kylie, and has amused me this arvo. You lot know better than me whether these people are scammers or not so I shouldn't get involved but it is funny to watch from the sideline but if they are scamming then I hope they get caught out for everyone's sake. PS the tomb stone is hilarious! They should get a life, get a job and get off this site.

It stands for Field and Target Trophy and yes, they're a first class hunting pellet if your gun gets on with them Thanks for the info matey. I may well give those a whirl when I purchase this week. Will let you know how it goes. Many thanks again.

Exact same here Ron......strange as you say Bill. Can't explain why it just doesn't like either accu pells or Super Domes . I did go through a whole tin of Super Domes as I thought it just needed "leading in" however changed to the Falcon Accuracy plus and just made such a difference in the groupings (tighter than a mouses ear hole!!) I won't go back to Superdomes. I have a full tin if anyone wants them.

Cheers Fellas, I think I'll take the gun with me and see if they'll let me try some different types in their rifle range, I did give accupells a whirl a while back and again my hw95 didn't like em....my try these FTT's... ps what does FTT stand for and are they okay for Rabbits? Once again thanks

Hi All, I currently put Falcon accuracy plus .22 through my rifle but I am now in need of a new tin. They are pretty good but are sooo soft that half the tin is unuseable due to the skirts getting damaged. I've tried superdomes (RWS) which it doesn't like. I've heard that H&N Barracuda might be better... Any thoughts folks?? Many thanks all Ben

Many thanks for the reply, I think you're right the pellet clips the silencer therefore leaves black residue. I am super careful with the gun and have never dropped it so maybe it could be that it was like it already when fresh from the box, having said that my wife has been known to move it occasionally so I might just blame her. Ben Meant to say that I have left off the silencer and found that my hw95 seems to feel and shoot better anyway, almost better balanced if you like. Took it out last night and before i had got out of the car I had bagged my first bunny! I would argue t

Hmmmm I confused. This fella sent me a friend request back in March when I signed up so he can't be a new member as he states. Secondly I was hoping that this site wouldn't be littered with people trying it on and scamming etc. I read the stories and info on here often and love this forum, I would be gutted if I thought that there were people out there trying to bugger it up for the rest of us... what a shame.
