  4. Mine never opened up running anything. Belting dog but i would agree about foxes, mine was on the light side.
  5. I need some advice, is there anyway to encourage a lurcher to hunt with his eyes instead of his nose? I plan on lamping with him but he is nose down tail up all the time. Is he destined to be a day time dog only?

  13. Sods law, I took my terrier pup out for a walk and saw a rabbit on the foot path I was on and then a squirrel sat smack bang in the middle of a playing field. I dont think i can cope without a running dog.

  15. That was when he ran into a wall in January. Really was a great dog, No world beater but he would have done anything to please me. Im gutted
  16. Thats a better picture. He came flying out my house thinking me and my brother were going lamping with out him. Hit by a car. At least he was killed outright and didnt suffer.
  17. I lost my dog tonight, Some of you might recall my posts about my Bedlington Greyhound Billy. He was a belting little dog and although it feels a strange to say about a dog, A mate aswell. RIP Bill.

  19. My copy arrived today, Some really good photos in fact bloody loads of them. It looks like a belting book, proper quality about it. Just one thing, some one has scribbled some childish writing inside the front cover......... Only kidding mate. All the best, Dave.

  21. My beddy once retrieved a shocked looking but live pheasant in front of about 30 ramblers whilst out for a walk.I got some filthy looks and lots of tutting so I let it go. but the best one was a terrier i had she shot though a hedge and came back with a porkpie and a bloke chasing her
