    Evening Before starting my work i went into my closest permission before work as i cant wait to get out with my newly tuned diana Took a walk along the hedges to see if any rabbits were out for there breakfast, spotted a few on the other side of the field. Jumped over the fence and moved up to get closer to the first rabbit. managed to stalk to about 30 Lined up the crosshairs on the rabbits eye and squeezed the trigger, pellet hit with a thump, rabbit gave a good jump landed on its back and a few kicks.     I understand where u were coming from, however it was a chest shot as the pellet did go through the chest cavity from below taking out the engine room of both birds.

    My shots were perfect for the situation, I shot the woodies from below due to them being up a tree so my pellet would have missed the solid chest bone and came out the back as you can see in picture, I always aim for a humane dispatch of my quarry no matter what it maybe. My rifle is sitting at 11.6 as I picked it up that day (friday) from gunsmith.

    Hey I had been looking forward to picking up my air rifle which i had tuned with V mach kit. This is one of the best air rifles i have ever fired, keep your pcp etc. this is what i managed in about 3 hours walking about a permission of mine, I am really happy i have my 52 back. Squirrels headshots at 35 yards Crows both taken roughly 30 yards Chestshots/heart Magpie was shot using a woodie as bait at 20 yards and the woodies taken at 30 chest shot. This rifle really shoots like a pcp but still has the feeling of a springer! Highly recommend theses tunning kits St

    Your right ...........it is not. like archie has said it is not illegal. a hare will go down just as much as a rabbit from a headshot or heart shot with a air rifle. As long as you dont go taking shots at mad distances. ps archie who are they two in your picture

    Evening When i first got given the shooting rights to a farm i was asked to thin out the hares as the they were damaging the newly planted trees. yesterday i managed to take these two with my newly tunned Diana 52. Both taken with headshots at 33 & 36 yards. ill be up with the shotgun tomorrow night and see whats about. stu
