that post makes absolutely no sense whatsoever....you can trust an aggressive dog???? trust it how exactly? that's like saying you can trust a yob who is going to stab you as long as you can see by his body language that he's going to stab you, you might be able to do something to stop him but you certainly couldn't trust him! bizarre thing to say! I think he meant you can predict them,or trust that they will do a certain thing. like you can trust an aggressive dog to bite your face if you try and kiss its nose.

I wouldnt criticise mma as a sport,its rules are based around grappling which doesn't appeal to me personally just as im sure boxing doesnt appeal to others. the fact is though athletes like mercer and Toney have proven themselves as boxers more than the mma fighters they come up against have as cage fighters,the main reason being there are a lot more boxers and they tend to be a lot more motivated than other athletes leading to a much bigger talent base. thats why i say they're tarnishing their legacy,people will remember them getting beaten by inferior athletes.

Well, I too want them banned in this country, not because it offends me. But because if I (a white male) were to cover my face in public, people would be not tolerate it. It we would be interpreted as a sign of suspicion, but because a dark pigmented women does it, it's OK!? I'm not having a go at the Islamic faith, I'm simply pointing out that this country puts the politically sensitive citizens (I.E: Middle Easterns of a certain religion) before the native people of this country. my point was if the edl went straight into politics they would at best be a very small fringe party,more likely they would disbanded. if they did now they would get a lot of votes,if they wait another 5 years,grow considerably and merge with the welsh and scottish divisions they would imo be bigger than the BNP,UKIP and the green party for example.

A lot of votes..........they've got no structure,no real mandates....they've got 100,000 members ffs theres more muslims on some housing estates than in there group. imo they are very well organised when you look at the members.

im not saying i'd vote for them lol. 100,000 would be the bare minimum who would vote for them,I think they would get a lot more than that. they limit themselves with the 'English' could of scrounged more votes from scotland,wales and northern Ireland if it was British defence league,maybe they'll all unite and do that when they start to expand. I think they may become a political party eventually,if so they've gone about it in a clever way by getting the support of a previously untapped group of potential voters.

it could well happen here imo if you repress people,violate their right to protest and freedom of expression what else is there you can do besides get violent? hopefully if it does happen here politicians and high ranking police officers are targeted instead of innocent children.

just the same as if Mercer went back to boxing now and challenged any top 50 heavyweight,i'd be betting he'd get destroyed, and it would tarnish a lot of peoples view of him in years to come.

anyone know anything about their value ans where best to sell them. just found a lot of old coins (lots of crowns) in a box in the garage,lots of old foreign money in there too,American,Bulgarian and Greek.

In all fairness,it sums up the difference in the quality of the 2 sports.....the fact out of shape ex boxers like Mercer/Toney can walk into mma fights at top level........that would never be allowed the other way round,and rightly so. its a f*****g circus,i honestly cant think why these great athletes degrade themselves by taking part. money we all need it they'd probably make more money having open workouts/sparring sessions in vegas or hosting those personality dinner things. dont forget mate its not just one night of work,theres the training which will be a a lot
