  1. I've seen a few litters of bullxgrey x wheaxgrey anyone run one of these?? Will it be on the heavy side for rabbits or are they ok??
  2. I like the look and stuff I've read on the wheaten x's don't seem to be many litters about tho with wheaten blood in them??
  3. Looking for a pup at the mo as my dogs are getting on, can't decide on what cross would be best for the job?? I like rough haired dogs so that would be something I'd like and I'm not to keen on bull x's Any ideas from past experience or just good Lurcher x Lurcher?? Cheers
  4. Phoned him today pup was being collected at 3 o'clock
  5. Sounds like they're just sorting out the pecking order. Did you clean the hutch out before you put the new ferret in? I'd try giving the living area a good scrub and putting them both back in at the same time. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. I put my small hob in with my three jills at the end of this summer. I got him late last summer and he was too small to take a beating from the three females so I kept him separate until this year. They battered f**k out of him when I put the poor bugger in with them at first, and he made a noise like he was being killed. It took a few days
  6. Yeah they both seem to do like a crocodile roll the aggressive one makes a lot of noise too squeeking
  7. The little poley was housed with 4 or 5 other ferts before I had her so thought she would be ok, I'll keep them apart and just put them together each day for a bit so they can hopefully get used to each other without being stuck in the hutch
  8. Hi all, After one of my Jill's dying I have bought another one, had her for a week or so now, kept her separate from my albino Jill just incase she was ill aswell. She seems to be fine so decided to put them together, the new polecat Jill is only 3/4 the size of my albino but she's one angry fert!! Keeps giving the albino a hiding!! The albino turns away an sprays put the little poley keeps going for her. Will they fight to the death or sort themselves out??? Have put them seperate again just incase
  9. North Wales, between Mold and Wrexham
  10. not sure tbh will have a look, wouldn't of thought so
  11. That can catch the common cold/flu virus off humans so maybe that too. Insulated the sleeping quarters on the hutch today so hopefully that will help
  12. As above Let me know if you've got one
  13. Got two of these so selling one to buy a wcs collarum Looking for £60 or swap/deal with a collarum
  14. Yes mate she was, she seems better now although not 100% she sounds like she's got a blocked nose when she's running around you can hear her breathing, an her nose is a bit runny aswell
  15. Picked up a new little Jill last night, think when I take the pup for her jabs on fri I will take both the ferts for a jab against distemper just to be on the safe side and protect for the future. Where could they have caught it from tho, the pheasant they ate 3 or 4 days previous??? All my dogs are ok??
  16. What do you mean by picked up??
  17. I got them when they where 5mths old so not sure if they are or not The remaining Jill is back to normal now so fingers crossed she stays that way. They never had runny eyes or nose or a rash so the vet seems to think its not distemper
  18. certainly no harm in trying, I buy mackeral in oil for the lurchers so i'll give the fert some once a week
  19. Ferret food, chudleys I think? They also have raw when I kill/shoot anything, there last meal was a pheasant I gave them on the weekend before she died
  20. No she wasn't really sure what it might of been, the injection has worked on the other one she's right as rain now so must of been some kind of disease/infection
  21. Yeah I'm looking for another one, it's proving difficult finding one tho! No not used jeyes to clean the hutch?
