  1. Cheers mate but im working away from home for the next 5 weeks so I'll be wanting a pup ready for around then that sounds a good litter but just abit to early for me, thanks mate
  2. Had a pup lined up from a bitch round my way but she had a scan today and sadly she didn't take, so the search for a suitable pup begins, just wondering if anybody knows of any litters that will be ready in the next 6-10 weeks? I'll be using the pup mostly for all-round stuff usually the larger rabbits and their antlerd friends but also lamping rabbits etc personally I'd like maybe a saluki whip grey or maybe 3/4 bred collie grey! If anyone knows of any litters ready in the next 6-10 weeks please give me a shout cheers Daz
  3. Some good breeding in there mate should make a good un! Keep us posted on it's progress
  4. For everything your wanting from your pup (holding fox & a spin on the bigger rabbits) me personally I would search for a good 3/4 greyhound 1/4 beardie collie with the collie it brings brains aswell as coat feet stamina nose etc etc
  5. Tidy looking wee pup that mate how's it bred?
  6. My own preference to use would be a 1st cross collie grey this would add good feet stamina good coat and a superb nose! Also another option would be a beddy x of somesort either grey or whippet
  7. Cheers bird mate, the bitch has just been caught so a while to go yet before I get my pup but had the bitch out a few times this season and seems a really decent day dog and the sire is a demon on the lamp and the son of a well known bitch down this way so fingers crossed I'll have a decent wee allrounder on my hands!
  8. Would say the same as roxy! Make sure her general obedience is 1st class also keep working on simple things like retrieving and stock breaking so that when it comes the new season everythings spot on all that needs to come is expeirance and maturity, aknow it can be a pain when a pup just wants to carry on in the field with ferrets other dogs etc but just have some patience mate she will learn with maturity that ferrets are for working not playing! Hope she makes you proud!
  9. Always been taught to breed only from the best or don't breed atall
  10. Pups get like that mate, you feel as though sometimes your fighting a losing battle and all of a sudden they just click and everything comes good, always have patience in them and faith in their ability
  11. Well done mate good to see the hard work you've put in paying off
