I'm lucky enough to live close by,I think they just seen the hares as pests once the coursing was banned,a lot of crops are grown around there,I'm sure I seen a photo somewhere of all the dead hares been shot, anyway it was the most poached estate in the world, haha your lucky to see hares there now honestly, I walk it regular and drive through there most days it's changed, the place is like a ghost town for hares I hope the new government wakes up to smell the beans and reintroduce hunting with dogs so we can sort it out and make it like it was -

YOU WILL KNOW YOURSELF IF YOU FIT THAT LABEL OR NOT, & SELF PRAISE IS NO PRAISE I BELIEVE. TRY ASKING THE PEOPLE THAT KNOW THE PERSON IF HE IS A DECENT DOGMAN IF YOU MUST ASK ANYONE The first to answer second part, thanks, that's why I'm asking u to ask yourself,I don't want no one to praise themselves just ask themselves do they fit the criteria for a proper dogman, the criteria being the answers given by thl members, if not then try to be like what is expected from other lurcher- terrier men an u should be on ye way to become a genuine, proper dogman or woman.thanks

Ye hawks ye inman these days, most farmers don't mind the ferret and hawk,so long as ye take time to learn how to look after one they be ye free pass to get in with the farmer, once the farmer trusts you, you know yeself "seen a earth looking active there Giles" haha hawks r great in ther own right I'm sure most lurcher, terrier men would soon pick it up, I always look for earths, while out hawking without hawk I probably be goin round same earths over n over. Find yeself everywhere with the hawk, love to fly a gos an run a lurcher together after longear used terriers to flush pheasents an rabb

All genuine dogmen would never sell a good dog from their kennel, u might get a pup if ye lucky, don't be fooled into thinking ye got a goodn,ye probably got ripped off. Buy a pup, rear it yeself then it down to you how it becomes,if it crap don't sell to some soft arse,do the honourable thing, an start again.choose ye pup carefully stick to who ye know. Seems to me by the answers most peoples good dogs wer passed to them by friends or bred at home or close by. These so called legends we hear of might be good dogs, but it don't mean their offspring will be,if ye put tessa Sanderson over lindfor -
