  1. Slightly different angle......
  2. And would you expect anything less from A.S.? The man's a perfectionist as you know. I wonder if the owner of the dog she'd just beaten thought she was too skinny!
  3. I'm afraid I'm all mixed up too now Roberto. That pic with the little girl is Class, the white bitch I posted is Candy!! Now the next time I lose my way I can look up this thread bring it all back. Thanks for the clarification Rob
  4. Yes as far as I know Royal Jihad (Ash) was the sire to Khan Jihad.
  5. I love large beaver holes......sorry I couldn't help myself Well done that bitch
  6. Class was out of Dancer mated to saluki dog called Ash, which I think was a brother to T.G.'s saluki bitch that made the Forley finals three years on the trot. Incidentally that photo of Class was also miscaptioned in the book as Blondie, and as I know I wouldn't have made that error I rest my case against the type setter Can't blame J.D. as it was me "what wrote" that article Arcticgun.
  7. There would be very few people who inform the K.C. when a dog dies.....I had my first staff in 1967 and if you ring the K.C. and ask, they'll have no record that she's dead either, but I can assure you she is. Amazing Pharoh was hit by a motor while chasing a hare on J.L.'s permission land.
  8. My old Archie dog from years ago...a real barnstormer!
  9. It was me put it in the running dog addiction but my enfeebled memory gland has taken a battering from years of self abuse, lol... Unless i have it completely wrong this below is Class. In any case I took this pic in the George car park just after she'd won a match taking three out of three. Blame the type setter and call it quits
  10. I think this is Candy, Isn't it Roberto?
  11. Why good for him ?....good for him that he chooses to own a poorly bred poorly put together dog ?...lets call a spade a spade not dress it up like winning a noncey rosette at a kennel club show is a good thing !.....as admirers of working/sporting dogs we should be strongly discouraging the backwards breeding of once decent dog breeds, not turning a blind eye and saying " its his thing ".....if i purposely had a child with a woman with no arms knowing the resulting offspring were going to have physical abnormalities is it ok to say well thats fine i put a lot of time and money into the kid and
  12. your dog from them lines as well john found this sure a good friend sent me it Have that picture framed on my living room wall.....with the original faces mind
  13. thatsss right he wer mine n he got run over Thats what puzzled me, the dog's been gone six years. Welcome to the forum whiteman.
  14. I have a lot of both dogs on tape. Joey looked a bit faster but still stayed around 6 minutes on a couple of successful runs so I was amazed when Gary told me he had stashed. I think he said it was his 99th hare, or he had killed 99.
  15. Was that K.T.'s dog the sire to your 3 1/2 year old?
  16. Joey was very similar looking to his half brother Nipper.
  17. The place I used to buy them continued to sell old stock under the counter to trusted regulars for a while but the guy told me it had been taken off the market because junkies were taking it with drink to get high. That was about 30 years ago. Can you imagine the mess?
  18. The only thing I remember about your dad was when he roared "what a lift, did you see that there?" when my bitch tumbled over the body with a hare right in front of him Biglicks. Ask him if he remembers it. When we finished off the day due to the cloud coming over us he rang Tony to tell him my bitch had won the day and Tony sent his congratulations back to me and his condolences to my pal S.K. who had been running a dog and bitch from the same litter that I gave him as pups.

  20. Well done Karlsberg, when Alan decided to put Foxie's brother Nipper over Dancer he told me that he'd seen Nipper run five hares off the one slip and never look like pulling up. That proves he wasn't suffering from that old malady....kennel blindness, and was purely interested in getting the best results possible. Mucho respecto!
  21. I abhor spousal violence but in this case I'd make an exception.....BITCH!
  22. Well my coursing has always been done for fun rather than for competition but on two occasions at least that I can remember I had dogs take the best dog of the day accolade on the mainland. One was with a red dog bred from the brother of the bitch in my avitar which killed 3 from 3 on Rippingale where such coursing luminaries as Oggie, J.F., T.H., P.S. and his Sligo connnection, and P.N. with both Beauty (Forley cup runner up) and her brother Beast, among others, were running. The second was when Willow took 11 from 11 whities in 3 1/2 hours in her first season in the company of E.C., T.M. (S
