    Just wondered how many of us believe in the saying "can't teach a old dog new tricks" Heard so many different views on this, and I'm really intrigued to how many of us actually believe a older dog can't be brought on.. I've never tried or seen anyone with a old dog that don't or won't work so I dont really have an opinion on this one. ATB HD.

    Beddy/whippet x grey for me, although a pal of mine owns a 1st cross bull/grey and im starting to take to him quite a lot.. Never thought I'd say it, as there just no use to me for the land I work or the quarry I aim for.. But like I said something with bedlington and grey all the way for me. HD

    My beddy whippet grey is the same martyn, skin like bog roll, always coming home with cuts and knocks, touch wood, he's never had a serious knock, had a 4" cut to his right shoulder just before start of season, but was back in action a week later, that's the worst any of my dogs has had.. What in particular is your dog knocking mate? HD.

    Bedlington/whippet x greyhound... Or collie/grey x beddlington/grey.. Wont go far wrong with a dog with bedlington and grey in it's makeup, excellent rabbit dogs, and not scared of getting nipped from stuff with teeth.. But this is just MY opinion, and everyone has one, it all cones down to personal experience tbh, and the crosses I provided are from my personal experience. ATB with your search. HD

    I've got the same x and he's as quiet as a mouse, but seen other beddy x's that howl the place down when chasing.. There's alot of factors to deal with, ie fitness, ground you work on, slipped doubled up etc.. My mates dog when slipped alone is as quiet as a mouse, but as soon as doubled up on teeth he yaps like a gud'n, wish ya all the best with him mate, and just curious but have ya got a pic of him? HD.
