  3. Will do, unfortunately I didn't know myself until I got there, or I would have posted on here
  4. Basically it means, running with other dogs cleanly, and not deliberately interfereing.
  5. Sorry to the lads that travelled over this morning, unfortunately the track had been sabotaged by cutting the wire that takes the hare round, once again please accept my full apologies.
  6. Yes, it shouldn't be a problem The reason we prefer pre-booking is so we have a rough idea how many dogs, so if necessary we can amend the start time, but it won't be a problem to book in tomorrow.
  7. Should be a good day, quite a good entry up to now, Just hope the weather is kind to us.
  8. Nice looking dog that, good luck with her
  9. I think you'll find askern run on a sunday, good luck theres a lurcher link? meeting on the sat 8th Geoff aswell Didn't realise this Chris, thought he'd got his days mixed up
  10. You get 2 runs for £5, and you need your own muzzle, but if you don't have one, someone will lend you one.If you think £5 is a bit steep to race your dog, the organisers have to pay to hire the track for the day so they need to cover their expenses .Also, if you go to watch the greyhounds race, you have to pay to enter the stadium, so imo £5 is quite reasonable. I asked a question regarding the muzzle, I never mentioned anything about the charge being a bit steep Never said you did, but where have you ever raced where they provided you with a muzzle ??? Bit of a strange question I t
  11. Yes , I remember that dog, 1st time out of traps and ran really well, Are you running him at askern ?
  12. No problem, come and give your whippet a couple of trials. Has it run before?

  15. You'd be surprised how many people prefer traps. You get a fairer race, don't really see how someone can slip 3 or 4 dogs evenly by hand-slipping, but that's just my opinion.
  16. if you are running a dog, make sure you book it in, (name, and under or over 23") Be good to get a few lurchers
