i dont think that a lot people dislike the dogs i think it's hardman image that SOME bull x owners give off
It's the hardman image that some bull x owners THINK they give off!!!
Here's my 3/4 bred collie greyhound he weighs 60lbs and stands 26" at the shoulder. He was 8 months on May 8th. Looking forward to the coming season - I won't do too much with him though. He'll grow a bit yet and will have some filling out to do.
Ok mate - of course you're right "we don't need people like you in the dog world."
I'm gonna sell up now. Anyone know where I can buy a 3/4 bred gerbil x guinea pig. I've heard they're quite "hood" or a swap for a 3/4 collie greyhound (8 months old).
So he don't jump, he don't retrieve and he's a yapper - all going good mate! I'd sell it - in the for sale section £250 just ready to start. Good luck
Had a russell x sealyham many many years ago and she bred some fine puppies in her time. She gave birth to 5 puppies in her 11th year and all reared perfectly and she tok no hurt at all. Got a pic somewhere - I'll see if I can find it and scan it in. If a bitch has bred puppies before she's five there's no reason she can't breed in her later years. Probs can come tho if you wait until she's 6-7-8 before you breed.
Used to hunt with a guy many years ago who had one - big strong dog and a real nailer to fox. Good single handed dog - but was a wee bit dodgy with other dogs if I remember. Good dog tho?
Hancock charged vat in the 1980s when he first started out Baw?
That's what I thought mate, cheers
Aye - all a long time ago now? Dunno when he stopped the vat - didn't know he had until I visited in December?
Cheapest lurcher was £30 and that was a long long time ago. Paid £ quid plus vat for collie geyhounds in the 80s. Paid £200 for collie grey pup in December and going to get another for the same price on Saturday from the same breeder. Paid £60 for a terrier dog and £50 for a bitch in the early 80s and never had to buy a terrier since. But have paid £750 way back in 1984 for a working collie and have also paid between £250/£500 for other collies in the last 30 years - sold some for similar prices. Price is no guarantee that the dog is going to be a goodun. I'm happy to pay £200 for a l
"I would not leave my young children alone with my dogs in a room no matter how much I think I could trust them it only takes one moment and you'll regret it the rest of your life."
I totally agree with you're quote above mate - never ever leave them alone. Read a few months back about a greyhound suffocated a baby by lying on the sofa with it - f**k me, you'd never get over that eh?
i thought he has some collie in him from his colour, my brain is like a sieve and cannot remember what he said to me. lol thanks for the feedback mate
So, if the guy who bred it is in your area go and ask him?
I understand but I'd rather give to a mate and still go out on hunting trips with it. Wouldn't bother me if I wasn't officially the owner.
Fair comment - It's still piss me off though.
