Why's the Tay not worth it?

Look at the catches on fishpal there very poor compared how it used to be,it’s a very faint shadow of its self getting its worse every year, also it’s a big loch and a very wide river especially for someone who hasn’t fish it before, atb wf

    Yes Ben

I was spotting hairs at 300 yards , easy, I have to say Ben this scope is seriously good , and when it starts to get dark and you could not see out of a normal scope I put the c50 in dust mode and no joke it turned twilight back into day light with out any IR and full colour , it’s really a reverlution in NV as far as I’m concerned and I’ve had them all ,

She worked rock piles all her life she was no earth dog she not stay long hour or so come out drop back in most times get your bolt she worked some big deep rock piles in her time were you not find her with box , I'd say maybe 4 digs to her in her life she was a bolting dog an she could shift a fox from most places

I remember lawton evans having a terrier like that, his was Black and Tan great rock dog and could shift a fox, where it couldn’t be dug to,it was lost in a cairn in glen lyon ,wf

  4. A post about these terriers came up a good few years ago on here, most of the people who owned at least one said they were the bee,s nee,s I then offered them a days digging with there first class workers ,and would you believe it none of them got in touch which said it all for me,I often wonder why if they were so good back in the day why there are so few about today? anyway happy digging gentleman,wf

  5. This happened with me the cause with mine was lack of maintenance, not cleaning it properly and the throat of the chamber ended up with corrosion so that when the bullet is fired and the neck expands it was catching the rust and making the bolt hard to pull back, mines was a mannlicher 243.forgot to add I could lift the bolt up but not pull it back and had to use a piece of wood as a hammer atb wf

  6. There’s a lot of well bred pups out there including drakeshead,a lot of people think if they get a well bred pup it will do what is asked of it but you must Remember its a dog which is only trying to please you and nine times out of ten it’s your end of the lead that’s at fault, most of the top names all have much the same breeding in them ,years ago it used to be get a puppy with a pedigree with pocklea Remus in it as many times as you can,as it produced many champions, also you will only get out what you put in,atb wf
