Cheers wedge, weathers mad, we get all 4 seasons in one day, i spent a good hour in a hollowed out oak tree when the rain was at its worst, hopefully we get a good few weeks of decent weather next month, when all those young pigeons, crows and rooks etc etc are finding their wings Atb peter

Cheers mate, it never used to bother me shooting in the rain when i had the S10, but with the Ranger i could cry!! haha when i took the action out of the stock when i got home i could of filled a pint glass with the water that came out!!! lol Atb peter

Hello boys, sat bored today so packed the gun in the car and set off for a quiet solo session, left the house about 11am and made my way to the new permission, i was going with the intent of just parking my self near some warrens and under some sitty trees, Arrived and the farmers doing some maintenance to the hedges and lawns as you first turn onto the mile long drive way, i get out and have a 10 minute chat, all is well, he tried to give me money for "slugs" again, and again i declined, told him that him letting me take care of his vermin was payment enough he wont take no for an answer,

Right lads, seems theres enough interest, but as has been said, if you say your coming please try to make it, nothing worse than expecting 10/15 and have 3 turn up lol Mine and adams new permission would be ideal, flat fields, a big wood with a path way cut right the way through with grass at golf course standard the wood slopes upwards from the path and would be ideal for uphill tree shots and the large short grazing fields at the bottom would be good for zero sessions before the comp and also for camping, we could get a cracking course set up on this land, im up the farm in a few days a

Most people have them under their pictures kev, me and adam are in stockton on tees and middlesborough, and we have permissions in thirsk, greatham, eaglescliffe, northallerton, shap, brough and yarm. That should give people an idea if its within travelling distance, mick01 who ive shot with, but he's dissapered off here a few moths ago is from redcar and has permission in durham. Ill have to give him a ring and see what the score is, wether he's still shooting or not Atb peter

I was thinking of using peoples permissions, mine included, if i get the right interest and its going to be worth it ill have a word with some of my farmers and "test the ground" with them, if everybody else interested does the same we could get a good few venues for this little get together I missed out on the THL meet this year aswell, me and smoggyadam were asupposed to be going with darryl and gary, but darryl told me that gary got stiffed off some bloke at work that was supposed to swap shifts with him, and the prison officers were working to rule so that fecked me up, and adam was

Ive used this gun and its as accurate as anything out there, light, short and full powered, excellent bit of kit, I can vouch that adam is 100% genuine and the gun is exactly as he's described, Grab a bargain boys, i would even Drive adam down to the buyer, if distance is within reason and he coughs up for fuel haha Look through my old posts and you will see the results of a night out with this rifle, aswell as a few photos of the gun itself.

Having read davyt's post and seen the pictures of the get together they had its got me wondering why us northern lads dont have a get together and have a bit of a H.f.t competition, It would be good to meet all the lads local to me and have a bit of competition and some banter, any of my fellow Smoggys,geordies,mackems,darlo,durham,yorkshire lads fancy trying to sort something out?? This forum is just getting back to normal.............so please just leave it, he had plenty of opportunities to clear his name, all that this post is going to do is kick up all the shit again, and i for one, aswell as the majority of users on here are sick of hearing about it!!! If this kicks off again ill be asking for my account to be closed and ill look for a new forum. This has gone a million miles to far and we just end up back on square one. Not having a go as i personally havent been affected by the scamming, but like i said im sick to death of it cropping up Atb peter

Id just like to thank bill aka (sweeney) for the lend of his chrono, What a top bloke, my shooting partner smoggyadam bought a scope off him a while back and it was spot on and at a good price, and now hes been good enough to trust me with his chrono, pleasure to speak to on the phone and just an all round cracking lad, so thank you very much fella Atb peter
