  5. prob didnt word it write, i ment at big coursing events, would the dogs retreive? if not, are they hard to train?
  6. ive got no experience with saluki lurchers so was asking the question. (pre ban of corse) would any of the saluki hybrids be natural retreivers. Also is it hard to train saluki types to retreive live to hand. thanks strongbow.

I go out lamping on my own with my dogs, and i think they are pretty competent at there job, usually coming home with some in the bag. basically id like to see some other dogs run not as a competion, just to compare running styles etc... ive got a bit of permission local to me (leicester/northampton) so if uve got a well trained dog, (must be 100% around stock) and fancy a night out pm me. atb strongbow

  10. theres a pic of my mates in my last topic, he a first cross. wouldnt class him as an allrounder hes not got the speed. but he a handy little catch dog, excellent in cover. atb

The whippet is good on bunnies, she works more like a terrier flushing to the lurcher. cant wait for back end of next season get the pup on the lamp. ive got a good feeling about her. Had some good nights out with the blue dog last season, everything seemed to hav clicked with him, hope hes not forgot it come september.ha. happy hunting, roll on september.
  17. cheers for replys. both the broken coats are poachers pocket bred, the blue dog is 2 years old, the other one is 6 months shes got a bit of deerhound in her hoping shes gona make 24tts. The little whippet is 18 months and 16tts
