    they have used salukis for wolves jackals wild ass all of which kick and bite size determines they dont and never have been used for going to ground but in most Asian and Middle Eastern countries dogs are not used or bred for going to ground as more than likely they would encounter snake as well as any other burrowing animal. Well bred and worked salukis will not take a backward step I have a bitch here who took a fox at 10 months old single handed it was by accident she put it up while running free she despatched it as qick as any of the dogs people use regular for fox. pre ban of course.
