  1. I,ve been trying to find out how to cure rabbit skins cos it seems a waste just to throw them, when i could use them to train my lurcher pup with etc.. Any advice from you folks?? or is it not worth the hassle? cheers Just done a search and found the previous post Can this Salt petre and alum be found at any pharmacy. Can't find where to buy it on google. CHEERS
  2. Just after a touch of advice from the experts please. My 1st lurcher is 16wk's old now and i have trained/training her to sit, stay, Lie-down and heel on the leed, all of which need a bit of polishing but generally good, especially if there's treats involved. She is also quite good at the recall unless there's other dogs about and she seems to turn deaf at times. Walking the other direction usually does the trick... It's the retrieve that i am just a bit unsure about. I use a rabbit skin dummy for training. She will go fetch and bring it ,sometimes right to me but other times drop it a few

Her dam is a Beddlington/Collie X Greyhound, Sire is a pure working whippet 22" so Im hoping for a decent small dog. What do you guys and girls reckon? Cheers
