    good pic's smally ive missed your post's mate good to see your still doing a bit. pups are looking good especially the most recent one off busher. ideation the dog you describe that your looking for is exactly what busher and his mates dog's are all about, ive seen the adult dog's work and ive seen both sides of the recent mating, beagle x cocker, you wouldnt be disapointed in either if you saw them, the cocker is very well bred and has been used for beating, but just gets used for general bushing to lurchers these days, the dam is like busher say's very steady for her type. somone mentio

    well i have been working at millom and its 40 mile from my house.. but 30 odd mile to carlisle there is rabbits (well there used to be a enough for a good night) and 30 odd mile to penrith and there is rabbits there...also there isn't a rabbit kind at Kendal so we have to do alot of travelling to get on a few rabbits end of the day if there is rabbits close to me then why is every lad i know with a dog head out towards penrith and even there 20 rabbits is a excellent night..says alot really for the amount near to me... fecking tell me about it,,,,,so it's your fault there's no rabbits le

    not getting into this argument but i will vouch for there being no rabbits around west cumbria, ive got permission around millom and wasdale and to be honest it isnt even worth the journey, also agree with the amount of dog lads up there, ive worked all over that area and ive never seen as many dog lads walking about with lurchers anywhere else in the country, what this has to do with the topic i dont have a fecking clue lol

    I have had all kind's of wellies i have a pair of le chameau leather lined ones at the moment which cost a fortune and they are still shite compared to my boot's..before the leather ones i had a pair of aigle neoprene lined jobbies..i used to swaet like mad in them and they where very hard to get back of..i ended up having to cut them off one day with a knife.. the main reason i am not a wellie fan is they offer no ankle support at all which i need for a weak ankle..for me it's another personal preference thing.. i know what your saying, must admit ive never had chameau's but i know lads

    muck boots are the warmest and most confortable wellies ive ever had,,,,,BUT i wouldnt have another pair, the sole doesnt have a good grip to start with and after they get a little worn they are deadly, you wont get more than 18 months out of a pair and 6 months of that will be spent slipping on your arse, i'm now using hunter balmoral neo, and after 18 months are still going strong at around the same price as the muck boots,,,,,i did nealy buy the aigle's as the rubber on them is very subtle and moulds to your foot but they are a bit more expensive and im not sure they would be as robust
