I've see quite a few killed in under 3 minutes on the fens in the winter, and given good slips too. there places on the fens that have shite hares and duffers. this january slipped my bitch on southsummer cotes fen killed first in under 30 seconds got straight on another off same slip killed that under a min. i dont kidd my self shite hares a good dog will kill em in under 3 min,s no problem some of the best run,s only last 2,3 min,s this 6 min,s run is mostly in someone,s head. me and you are talking about 2 different things pal

good hares proper fen dead of winter no matter how good the dog is they dont get killed under 3mins. i can go and know places where 5 and 6s can be done but i like to test my dogs

think alots got to do with where you run them. some lads run on permission where hares are only run a couple of times a year and are shite. 3 proper hares mid january takes some doing
