    Exactly! I couldnt give a chuff what colour or type of terrier for that matter i was getting as long as it came from a good background of workers. The thing that gets on my tits is the fact that so many people are breeding for colours rather than workers all because they can fetch a bit more money!

    I would get her working first mate she will want a good few seasons of real work behind her before you even think of breeding her, She may not work out then you wouldnt want to breed off her. Just make sure you are breeding for the right reasons to produce good working dogs from good working parents, and not just for the money. Good working russels are hard to come by for the very reason that too many untried dogs are being bred from to fill owners pockets and to parade round a show ring.

    no there not all so bad as i found out.but alot of them just take the piss Yes but as long as the dog is sorted it would be money well spent even if you have paid a bit more, As said i would never leave a bitch to pup without atleast trying the vets to see if they can sort it but i suppose it all comes down to how much you value your dogs and their welfare tbh.

    Not all vets are rip off merchants, I would prefer to get a dog to the vets and pay the money than to lose a terrier to something that can be sorted.

    If you want to use her this season get her to the vets and see if they can get them aborted sooner rather than later , They will also be able to tell you if its a phantom. If she does pup and cant pass them its going to cost you a hell of a lot more and may even cost your dogs life! Dont risk it mate get her to the vets.
