  3. so sorry to hear what happened to her! Time is a great healer and i wish you and your family all the best, keep your chin up mate and dont even react to some of the stupid comments your getting on here. R.I.P Fizz good hunting where you've gone!
  4. Keep trying the rescue centers, they can be sods for saying your dog hasnt been picked up when it acctualy has! id personal ask them if i can go and check at the kennels myself. Hope she turns up safe and well atb
  5. puppys cant hold there bladders very well and some tend to pee alot till they get a little older. If the pup is fine and showing no symptoms of anything elce then id say its probably normal. atb
  6. very nice healthy looking pup, all the best with her and well done to the breeder/rearer for doing a excellent job.
  7. i live in a Parvo hotspot and have seen this devistating disease more than enough times. if its parvo then the vet should have hospitalised the pup and started treatment immidately. young pups are less likely to survive parvo than an older vaccinated stronger dogs. A close friend of mine had a lurcher pup that got parvo it was touch and got for a while and he pulled thru he leads a happy healthy working life, on the other hand a bloke i know lost the last 3 pups out of a litter and very nearly the sire to it. some of my vaccinated dogs have had corona-virus which mimics parvo and can
  8. he's showing great potential in the field too. Your doing a ace job with him jenna,he's grown well for a pup that weighed 0.54kg when he was born lol its nice to see how the pups are developing they're turning into fine working animals. atvb X
  9. iv never had problems with nobivac DHLPPi but iv had bad reactions to Eurican DHLPPi in the past. More recently i had to use Procyon Lepto and that caused alot of swelling around the injection site in my pups but my mates pup that had the same brand was fine. some dogs just react worse than others and some not at all. atb
  10. few more for you here jen, the dam.
  11. iv never had a case of fps and this i think is why.... i give 1 dose of synolux or similar anti-biotics 1 week before mateing and another 1 week before whelping, keep the pups as warm as possible without over heating for the first 2 weeks of life as far as i know this has worked for me. The first sign of pfs is a drop in weight, i weigh my pups at birth and every day till older than 2 weeks. sorry for your loss mate! atvb
  12. its not just about the feeding mate, pups are still learing from the dam at that age. After breeding several litters over the years and seeing pups with the dam i personal wouldnt let them go untill at least 8 weeks old even though mine are weaned off the dam by 5 weeks. But if looked after properly you do get a better bond haveing them young. All the best with the puppy i do have a soft spot for a nice rotty
  13. i completely agree!at 6 weeks they still need the dam, less than 8 weeks is a no no for me they've got to a least be old enough for vaccines but that is a lovely rotty bless
  14. i spoke to hedz earlyer and he gave me some very good info about it. My panic is over lol all the best
  15. my fella has been checking out the local news and came across some chilling news. Theres a mistery illness in CLUMBER PARK, NOTTINGHAM and it has been killing dogs since last year, 8 dogs died last year of this vomiting and diarrhoea illness and more have died recently of the same thing, its not poisioning. A mans dog dropped dead when he got home after walking in the area. Anybody from the area beware if you excercise your dogs in or around the sherwood forrest area.
